Carbon fibre moulded chassis, aerial holder, aluminum standoff posts for the front end, battery tray and battery straps, cnc machined delrin gearbox, extra idler gear & shaft plus bearings, rear shock tower, wing mounts, hinge pin braces plus a spare set, S2 bodyshell and wing, and all the fasteners required to complete the conversion.

Shipping would be £12.50 to the USA.

Chassis, rear shock tower, gearbox casing, shell & wing, wing mounts, battery strap and rear plastic motor guard. There is a few little items as well but can't remember them at moment.
1 Tip if you are getting an S2 is to cut the rear inner hinge pins to 43mm long.

Finished building my Atomized B44 today.
Just waiting on New Brushless ESC to arrive so that i can give it a try.
Tested S2 today and very happy with how it went. Now to make up the cells for it.
Big thanks to Craig Harris for the set-up.

Body Paint is hopefully spraying up some of the shells this weekend  so hopefully we will get some photos up soon, but i am not sure if the detail will show up that well on photos.

SHY 24-03-2008 12:34 PM

The S4 conversion is £265.00 and i would guess at the moment around 4-6 weeks wait for the conversion :( but i keep the towers etc in stock.

Does anyone know the S2's rear weight percentage? I think the X-6 is something like 55% in the rear and 45% in the front. Does the S2 have more weight in the rear end compared to the x-6? Also, do the saddle pack lipo's fit in the S2?

SHY 28-03-2008 03:22 PM

Good question!

From the X-6 manual: "A typical 2WD has 70% rear / 30% front, the X-6 has 55% rear / 45% front".

I guess you can play around a bit on the X-6 though, as you can put all 6 cells (or a stick lipo) across in the rearwards position. 4-2 is "normal" though.

The X-6 uses it's "own" rear arms, whilst the S2 uses std. B4 arms right? Does anyone know why?

OldTimer 29-03-2008 09:44 AM

Once the hard cased lipo saddles are out, and i can get hold of some then i will make a new battery tray for them, which you can adjust forwards and backwards like the current tray.

I am not able to get corner weights so i cannot give you a rear weight percentage. With the movable battery tray we find this is a very good extra tuning aid for the car, as you are moving around the heaviest item in the car.

When we ran the 3 gear car, i had to try to get as much weight to the back of the car to get rear end grip, even added 55grams of lead onto the rear shock tower to help, but with the 4 gear gearbox thats in the production S2 its the opposite it generates lots of grip so no lead needed, and i normally run my cells in the mid or forwards position to lose some rear end grip.

S2 uses B4 wishbones btw.

SHY 29-03-2008 01:58 PM

Sounds great Jonathan! Add one of those new trays to my order!

Would it be possible for you to also make one for the S44? (like Diggity Designs just made, see redrc.net)

I guess that's the new shell? Sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet!!! :woot:

That blue alu front part, where's that from? (Integy?)

Body Paint 01-04-2008 11:58 AM

New shell and wing, glad you like it. It's the first one people actually really like which makes me very happy :).

I think the front end is either K-Factory or GPM, I've had it such a long time I can't remember. Jonathan might remember.

OldTimer 01-04-2008 12:16 PM

I think its a GPM part, got mine from here http://cgi.ebay.com/ALU-GRAPHITE-FRO...742.m153.l1262

SHY 01-04-2008 12:24 PM

Ah, yes. I think it's GPM then. So that's durable? (I've heard most of their upgrade parts aren't...)

I like the fact that the S2 now is a obvious relative to the S44! :)

Thx Jonathan! Any more recommended bling? Who sell those blu alu washers? Blue damper collars?
