Please confirm that this is the case as a lot of us may not pay or go if its not.

Team DUrango is the Main sponsor of the event for 2012 and consequently Dboots tires will be official tyres of the event.
I've changed nothing in my organisation, carpet will be at 90% minimum and a sliperry part as usual. (or 100% carpet, i'm not closed on that and let this part to the hosted club and drivers but all I decided will be respecte as each year since 2006.
I can understand your questions but trust me as I trust to Moto-Arena and Siverstone club.

Details are online and will be open to all drivers from 1st october (if places will be available - I'm sure some of you get them as I read some post from invited drivers who don't want honore its) - Just be patient the 1st october

Have a good weekend,

Hey

Hello all,

Will they sell the dboots tires on the venue or will I have to buy them in advance???

super__dan 26-09-2011 08:34 AM

Yeah I've not booked anything as surely there is no point until the venue is announced, or have I missed something since Moto Arena closed?

It's my understanding that although MA is closed, it is open for special events, ie PetitRC et el.....

GRIFF55 26-09-2011 08:37 AM

How much is the entry for this meeting, I can't remember or see it anywhere?
Cheers

arny 26-09-2011 08:50 AM

42eur one class, 52eur two classes, 62 eur 3 classes

PaulUpton 26-09-2011 09:34 AM

so thats £36 if you only want to do the one class :o

It was said in a post on the first page by spenner that if it's not at Moto Arena then it will be at their other venue which is 10mins away from Moto Arena so any hotel for one will be suitable for the other!

super__dan 26-09-2011 04:48 PM

Thanks all, my bad.

Yes! Just have a look to PETITRC website.

Adam F 01-10-2011 08:52 PM

Does the £36 per class include control tyres? :eh?:

No

Please have a look to the race website and read the "news/talk" part AND "rule" part. All your answers are certainly inside otherwise use the news/talk part to ask me.

thank you of your attention and have a good weekend.

tellor 02-10-2011 06:41 AM

£36 for the day for 1 class with no tyres included in the race fee. WOW!

bet you get a T-shirt that no one will wear though!

What makes this event more expeensive than all the others we raced at this year, the F345's and F2/juniors/vets were a £5 weren't they? and they were great weekends

Oople was a bit dearer but that was well worth the money

Welshy40 02-10-2011 11:09 AM

The question is how many times have you got the chance to rub shoulders with the best in europe and the world (several drivers last year where worlds A finalists and winners) on the rostrum. You dont get that at the f's event.

Adam F 02-10-2011 12:20 PM

Not sure thats worth the premium, the chances of me racing against any of the top flight are tiny.... (and if I did I would just get destroyed)

There has been worlds level bods at MA before during a normal club night and it made no difference to my night at all..

ghostdogg 02-10-2011 02:28 PM

As much as I do want to do this event and have registered! I have been struggling to justify the price!
Maybe the price is set to stop people my standard from entering!
It's over 300% more than your usual race!!!!
Decisions decisions!!!

ghostdogg 02-10-2011 02:34 PM

Ps when the deadline on knowing where it's going to be held?

Dudders 02-10-2011 03:30 PM

Yes it's higher than most but it should be a cracker.... how, IMHO ALL race fees are two low considering the time and investment related to running a club/meeting.

That is DEFINATELY true.. Putting race meetings on is so marginal and costs keep going up..

Adam F 02-10-2011 04:09 PM

Just seems odd that the Silverstone lads ran some awesome weekend meetings at MA, with mental tracks for £10, yet for Petit its £36....

Difficult to justify that....

Hi mate, you can run at my place for £36 including a set of tyres if you want?

JCJC 02-10-2011 04:25 PM

The past UK (and possibly the French) Petit meetings have been in the same ballpark price wise so its not a surprise. I am sure it will be well attended and a great event, grab it while you can and enjoy.

Adam F 02-10-2011 05:36 PM

Ta matt, I will!

Robocop 02-10-2011 10:00 PM

Like people say it is a little high but i will never go to a worlds but it will be good and i can drive there and know it will be dry

jonathan may 02-10-2011 11:01 PM

its only once a year small price to pay for a good time cant wait for january

Smartalec 03-10-2011 05:44 AM

From a personal point of view, the £36 cost would be much less of an issue if I knew where I was going to be racing. Can't justify paying ANY amount of money to race at an undisclosed venue, I'm not interested in racing "somewhere off junction 15" so I'll not be bothering :wtf:
