Unlucky, any way you can push your luck further?

big air 20-02-2008 05:59 PM

will the tables defo be gone by saturday, as where i sit they where supposed to be skipped 3 weeks ago and they are still there, so ive been bringing 2 tables and chairs every week :eh?:

Jane 20-02-2008 11:18 PM

We are keeping the tables and chairs that are left until after sunday now as some people didnt have a table or chair...

The track on both saturday and sunday will be as big as we can possibly make it...We will do what we can with whatever we have left for jumps...we have sorted out a few games too which will need audience participation to get the atmosphere!!!

The final race on both days will be raced by EVERYBODY AT ONCE so if you are on crystals make sure you bring as many as you have along with you...

Hope to see you all there and dont forget the new venue from saturday 1st March for race night and tuesday 4th march practice night....Racers rest will be open as usual :D

DONT LISTEN TO ANY OF THE LIES YOU MAY OF HEARD...THESE PEOPLE HAVN'T GOT A CLUE WHAT THEY ARE TALKING ABOUT, THEY ARE FULL OF S*** ....ASK IF YOU WANT TO KNOW ANYTHING ;)

ben 22-02-2008 07:32 PM

yeh as ben said, what time? should we charge cells before hand or will there be enough time like at a regional event?
whats the race format going to be like? it sounds a tad confusing tbh

thanks

Matty, just get ready as if its a regional, you know the bizz by now, not that confusing really turn up cells charged or charge cells (as BRCA say) and race, simple:thumbsup:

mattym0310 22-02-2008 11:05 PM

this is gonna be a fun race....the last car running wins so no transponders needed....

mattym0310 23-02-2008 09:53 AM

so we run until we dump, so may be 20mins?

ben 23-02-2008 11:08 AM

Only cos you have that freakish motor that is rediculously fast and as I well know lasts FOREVER ;)

ben 23-02-2008 12:47 PM

:thumbsup::thumbsup: it was just funny the way you were stood behind me on the rostrum for about 15 minutes going "have you nearly dumped yet" haha. Wot sort of run time can people do with one pack of cells then for this final thing. I think my best at the endurance was 18 minutes:p

ben

josh_smaxx 23-02-2008 01:48 PM

I think the rostrum is going to be full

18 Minutes, that is ridiculus that is i mean i can make about 10 - 15 mins at most but 18 mins that is un-believable.:woot:

josh_smaxx 24-02-2008 05:15 PM

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO that was a fun day out!!!!!!!:thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:

Great racing with Chris Pattison in the qualy rounds, not great in the final but im not bothered. I recon i got one of the furthest 2wd in the long jump. Snapped my wheel off in the fun race  Well done TRCC for THE best race meeting i have been to, BRING ON BILLINGHAM :thumbsup::thumbsup:

LEGEND 24-02-2008 06:39 PM

Yeah thought it was an excellent day apart from breaking 3 rear shock towers. One being in the fianl but i still managed to finish. Also i loved that little enduro race at the end. i rekon i could have gone on for atleast another 5-1- mins but apparently i got marshalled. But this person had turned my car around just after i had gotten free frm the rope so this counted as me getting marshalled. But once i had gotten home and taken my cells out i had noticed that one of my cells had completely died. It was all melted and it had 0.01 volts so this cell is going straight in the bin.

chrispattinson 25-02-2008 12:09 PM

Well done to Teesside, it was a great day.

Good clean racing all day, which is suprising considering I was in D. Packs heat for 4WD.
Good clean qualifying racing against Josh, which I think kept both of us going a bit quicker rather than slowing us down. I think the final was the only race I beat you in, tough luck there after a very good qualifying position.
Its the first time I've managed to get the Tamiya dialled for the warehouse, which is a pity, as it was flying. Sad to see the venue go, but we've all got great mamories of the place.

A few I would like to mention would be the endurance racing, the cross over we had one year, banked corner, race control collecting wishbones - one in particular being trying to get past Pack round the outside in the final minute of a B final in 2006 and just clipping race control, my first 4WD indoor A final, and good close racing on the high grip track.
Thanks to everyone who has made the place a success both yesterday, and over the years.

Hope to see some photos up Josh!

big air 25-02-2008 02:43 PM

yep josh get some pics of the on road up aswell
