The fella who didnt brush the back of his head??

chris68nufc 09-02-2008 04:53 PM

Just got back from track building. Very nice layout if i say so myself. Nice jump in front of rostrum and a wall of death to look forward to! Plenty carpet for the carpet lovers aswell. Loads of room for pitting so no panic about getting a decent spot. Cafe upstairs etc so looks to be a great Regional.

How did Mr Skelding do?:)

super__dan 10-02-2008 09:01 PM

Any results from the A's?

Mike Hudson 10-02-2008 09:13 PM

I think the top lot in the A were greg, chris long and skelding for 4wd not 100% sure though

Think your right there, i think Chris held of Adam but not sure, i should know after marshalling that race but im not sure  lol

EDIT: no i wasnt marshalling that one :wub i was taking pictures

chris68nufc 10-02-2008 09:29 PM

Dan
As far as i remember it was Gregg with the win, David Snee with the second(hasnt raced in a while but it didnt show)and maybe chris Long next? James Chappell qualified 6th but didnt have a great race. Adam Skelding looked great all day as usual but made a few mistakes which didnt help. Well done to Stephen adams on an A final. Ben Riley was in the A aswell along with Northy. Sorry if i have got anybodys position wrong but thats what i can remember. Well done to NERCR for an awesome event and great track.
Brilliant result for little Gregg.Excellent run even tho you knew Snee was going for it! Gutted the indoor Regionals are finished

chris68nufc 10-02-2008 09:39 PM

Sorry. These were 4WD results(hopefully correct) and 2WD was won by Mr lowe. Great move to take the lead from Stu Wood to get the 2WD championship(I think) at the end of the straight.

For the first time in my life I drove with my head....
Qualy wasn't the greatest. But TBH Gregg was driving his socks off.. Unlucky not to take TQ...

Final: Drove round with caravan on and made sure I just finished behind Mr Long...(Or underneath as it turned out) to win the championship.

I was tired though after spraying Mr North's incedibly complex shell ;)
I don;t know how you manage more than 1 colour.

just about everyone in the 4wd A has been mentioned except ben jemison. big welldone to ben after getting his first NE regional A with the S4 [the only running s4 there today]. you did well to keep your position around the other ben, he was driving like an animal. ben also did well with his 2wd, putting it in the A to finish 3rd overall in the championship [i think ]. so a very welldone to ben and all the other drivers.

thanks NERCR for a great meeting

Nah Woody won the championship, I needed to TQ aswell as win to get it. It was a bit of a dirty (unintentionally!) overtake for me, normally I would have waited but I wasn't in the best of moods after the local scallies decided to open my Astra's window with a screwdriver :(

Who needs a Tomtom anyway when you have KashKash to follow
