Could you make a wider pivot as well? I need the inner pivot to be about 3-3.5mm wider than stock. I would need both front and back. How much you think. Would like to have the rear one in aluminium thought if possible? (to get rid of any pendleeffect.

hello i was reading about this and was wondering if you had anymore of these pivots and if you would send one over seas to the united states? i would love to give this block a try. Thanks,
Craig |

Hi Craig, Yes I still have plenty in stock bud, The shocker is the postage to the USA is £7.50:bored: But I'm more than happy to post them to the USA. |
This block is a drop in replacement correct? We still use our plastic inserts or shims depending on if we run Mid or Rear..
Have you shipped to Canada? Will you? |

Hi, It's a direct replacment for the HRC. Only fits to a mid motored set up. To Canada, I have and will again :) Cost is a bit of an issue thought with recorded postage being £7.50. |

No plans currently to make anything but the standard HRC rear weight, making small batches/one offs is very time consuming and expensive. Even the shims i've only one person asking if I'm going to make them. So I'm guessing it's not something people want/need. :bored: |
At first a figured that a wider pivot would be enough and simply cut the hexes to get the right measures of the car. Although I think it will make the driveshafts run to far out in the outdrive. So the best thing would be both new pivots and hubs to go with them.

im a little confused lol
This is the rear front block right? Does that mean it can be directly swapped for the one i currently have in, or do i have to change to the rear HRC blocks as well. Currently running LRC with no real plans to change to HRC |

In short can it be used along with the rear rear lrc block or does it need to be used along with the rear rear hrc block |

I'm just trying to get it clarified, I was given a sample to work to for the original product. I was then told that it was a HRC by someone else 'if I was ever asked' Just trying to get in touch with Chris Evo to clear it up. Sorry for the confussion, I'll get back to you ASAP. As far as I know, this part doesn't change weather you have HRC or standard. |

Right,
To clear this up, The part works with both HRC and LRC as it's a universal part. you just buy the standard shim kit that suits your setup. THis has been confirmed by Team driver Chris Evison. Sorry about the confusion, I was just throw a duff call by someone I thought knew what they where talking about. So to confirm. This is for a midmotor set up with high or low roll centre. You use the standard shim kits that come with the kit or the shim kit you get for a HRC. It fits at the front of the rear suspension, with the angle fitting under the motor. |

I have it in my 22 since last week... and I am absolutely fond of this weight !
I tried weight under the lipo (75g), that helped a lot on my favorite track (high grip, traction astro / carpet) but with your rear weight is much better : the car seems to make exactly what I think about. There is no side effect like with the TLR rear weight : we have more traction, but the rear is still able to rotate without rolling too much. Thanks a lot cream, you made my TLR 22 experience much better ! :D |
Thanks Marc0, So glad your happy with it :)
BTW just 3 left of this batch... |
Wow It took a week to get them to Canada :)
Very nice pieces. Thanks CREAM! |
thanks as well... Think ill cream my 22 tonight :)
|
hopefully mine comes tomorrow so i can try it sat, going to the track for all day practice.

Haha i have no problem with that, now if you want more credit, you could also work on a rear motor weight so i can compete on dirt this winter :)
There is not as much room but im sure a eaviyer piece could fit there as well. |
do you have any weights in stock at the minute?
|
I've plenty in stock bud.
|
i am thinking of getting one of these as i want as much rear end grip as i can get so if my thinking is right i need one of these and to run the 3 degree anti squat ?
i mainly run 1/10th gt pan cars so i am used to having lots of rear traction as i use the power and rear end grip to steer rather than the steering if you know what i mean if i want it to go wide i just put more power on and if i want it to turn tighter i just get off the gas |
For what I know most are settling for around 1 degree of anti squat. But yes the weight will give you more rear grip, But with no pendulum effect as the weight is infront of the rear wheels.
|
Thanks for shipping to Canada.. Got it today...
Do most people run your block with the losi weight set? I am running mainly mid high bite carpet. Thanks |

From the feedback I'm getting, Many are not using the rear weight, but choosing to use this weight instead to get rid of the pendulum that is associated with the losi weight set. I'll just add this quote. Quote:
P.S. thanks for the feed back Jaune. :) |
