Too clean :rolleyes::p

telboy 12-01-2008 03:25 PM

Nah, Not realy. You should the inside of a F1 Teams factory.....now thats clean!!

Me and mr christopher visited the Spyker factory earlier in the year with RRCi, and even a team as small as them had a spotless work area.

josh_smaxx 12-01-2008 03:36 PM

True, i can never seem to keep my pit area clean at all, stuff everywhere, it just jumps out of its box and spreads all over the place :eh?:

Also, did anyone else notice the hammer on that pic? :D

sim 12-01-2008 04:58 PM

Ya, I keep that hammer near the table in case I need to make parts fit.

losidan 13-01-2008 07:59 PM

we only live in a one bedroom house so there is none of this. it is all packed away in boxes and stored on the top of wardrobes or in cupboards...apart from me cars and toolbox which live in the corner of the bedroom!!!! I either get my pit table out in the room downstairs or clear the missus table in the bedroom and turn that intoo a pit table.

so long as it is all cleared away it is usually ok but her indoors is getting hacked off with it being in the bedroom.

_JP_ 13-01-2008 08:14 PM

JP!

i can see my old touring car shell under your desk!!!!! u steal it?

terry.sc 14-01-2008 11:51 AM

Mine is all in the garage.
http://www.tamiyaclub.com/showroom_m...d=67274&id=297

Unfortunately my cars have to share the space with all my work tools and equipment as well, so it's hard to find places for anything to go, as well as usually having several projects on the go at the same time.

on the dining room table which is solid oak and cost me £5 from a bloke in the paper, cars all live in an ikea shelving unit in the dining room.

I have a 27ft garage but thats where my 3 motorbikes and all my tools and other stuff live.

josh_smaxx 16-01-2008 05:07 PM

A few months before christmas there was talk of getting our garage extended to give a bigger workshop for my dad and a decent one for me (all with drill press, bench grinder and welder ect ) but unfortunately it never materialised :( might have to start stoking the fire again :D

LEGEND 16-01-2008 08:49 PM

My pit area is currently very tidy due to the fact that if i do not put everything away, she will just throw it out. At first i didn't take her seriously, but when she threw out half the spares for my 18th scale i started to believe her. So now it is almost imaculate.:D

:D Thats class, unlucky but class :D

Chris Harte 16-01-2008 10:07 PM

I pit off my bed cover and from my hauler bag. Everything gets stored in the back of my wardrobe in the hauler bag. I have a neat pile of boxes where all the boxes get stored in case I need to take anything back.

gramey 16-01-2008 10:41 PM

:)Electric TC's indoors on the dining room table and 1/8th truggies out in the garage as even my long suffering wife wouldn't put up with them in the house after a wet day's racing on dirt!:D
