If you can put a half size servo in it though you can get all the electronics in the space and run saddle packs. In all the testing done in the UK Andy and David ran saddle packs with a Castle Creations MMP ESC up the front and managed to get the micro Spektrum receivers next to it. Bit of a squeeze but it can be done.

Cool, I do have savox 1251, I think that's the number, but it's in my shark, but that should be up for sale as my local club does not have a championship for them anymore.

thank you

I'm not certain I understand your question. The Spektrum branded receivers will only work with Spektrum transmitters and modules. If you are using a Spektrum module the micro receiver you need is the SR3500. If you have a DX3R (for example) you will need The SR3520.

Hope that helps a little.

I think all shops were told the same today, but we were told to keep it quiet until they have confirmed they have landed  looks like a few shops couldnt resist letting the info out, looking around the various forums.....

We will collecting our kits in person (if they all fit in our van), along with our full compliment of spares too and they will either be in the shop before close of business for collection or will be packaged up and with UPS that night for delivery the following day to each of our customers who are having them despatched (before some shops have even recieved them no doubt ;))

We will post more on our own website later this week as the arrival is imminent, some limited available stock is still available from our first shipment also.

Northern Monkey 15-03-2011 08:11 AM

DMS - thats great thanks for the info. Glad I have one coming from you guys if your collecting from Horizon...good job

MK Racing 15-03-2011 09:50 AM

We wre told the same as DMS & told not to tell anyone untill they had landed in the UK incase of any issues with customs etc.....

We will also be collecting from Horizon as soon as we get the call & will be open till 10pm that day for customers to collect

Im buggered then - mines coming via Dave in his Chuckle Bus!. Let me know how the build goes.

Im trying to workout how much space there is behind the servo for an esc (hard to tell from the pics). I have the Savox 1251 (low profile) and a SP GT2 esc - will that fit behind the servo when running mid-motor?

millser 16-03-2011 06:28 PM

hope mines on the way in the post :thumbsup:order it from je spares
not had a new car since the xx came out looking forward to building the beast:thumbsup:
and take it for test run( will have to get the track all done asap)

Aran 16-03-2011 06:33 PM

Judging from RC Racers build blog its looking you could get the SP gt2 in there but you may have to stick the receiver on its side like on the Durango.

Maybe someone from TLR or someone who got theirs (Marc Knight) can tell us some measurements? :P
