Based on percentages of number of drivers in attendence vs number in the final, Losi probably had the best results of all the teams there :eh?:

Jared Tebo takes the 4wd World Championship Title after two legs of the A-Final, with his Checkpoint Powered Associated B44.

Excellent report Jimmy, Nice one.

mayhem 16-09-2007 11:42 AM

Its me DC, racing is all over here, phew, its been a long week and most of team GB arent very happy with 4wd, except me!!! Bradders stayed at the hotel today as he still wasnt feeling well, neil made it into the B final, Lee and Craig were in the C and I made it into the F final. I am very happy with that, I had 39th in round 5 to qualify 55 and that is where i finished, would like to have won it, but after driving like a fool, realised after the race finished my slipper had come loose, but still very happy. But we are all ready to come home, 2 days in Tokyo then we fly home, yeah!!!

super__dan 16-09-2007 01:15 PM

SO what happened to Bradders?

2007 World Champs - Hayato Matsuzaki and Jared Tebo
Posted on Sunday, September 16, 2007 at 9:56 AM by DerekB

The wait is over, we now know the new kings of electric off-road and what they drive. Hayato Matsuzaki used his HotBodies 2WD Prototype (more or less a B4) and a Checkpoint brushed motor to win the 2WD leg of the event. 4WD was a B44 domination as Jared Tebo too his Checkpoint powered Associated B44 to the top of the podium ahead of his teammates Ryan Maifield and Cavalieri. Very impressive for the car and also for the USA.

Spoke to Lee Martin today and I asked about Bradders? He got bit off a but and got an infection and he was ill for a few days. He is better and on the way home.

Stu 18-09-2007 08:50 PM

Phil, you are being too subtle,

HotBodies 2WD Prototype?

Good news Stu, at least he has the consolation of being on the telly.

super__dan 18-09-2007 08:51 PM

Dwain Dibley - No Way!!!!!!!!

jimmy 18-09-2007 09:22 PM

Is that a Joke? it's an associated B4 - as 'owned up' on hot bodies own website. Rc411 have it wrong. The prototype is yet to appear - it wasn't ready in time.

jimmy 21-09-2007 07:35 PM

Just working on photos at the moment - sorry for the delay but I'm getting over the jetlag at the moment.

Yes but most people dont care about the lower finals, the main final that all the teams want to be in is the A and as far as we can see Losi did poorly. Losi lost plain and simple, and doesnt matter that they were out numbering every one else, the A is where they need to be and shows that they still need to do a lot more work.

I think Matt's refering to the fact that Losi only sent maybe 2-4 drivers compaired to the large team associated sent.

Qualifying second is pretty good when there is only a handful of you compared with the huge factory and local support that the B4 drivers had. Truhe also beat the whole Kyosho factory team as well. The Losi drivers didn't have any of the back up that the others had so I'd call that an impressive result.

jimmy 26-09-2007 10:03 AM

Even Academy had more support!
