Great work again Mole, you've got those twilight landscape shots down to a tee. Punisher, you've got some great atmosphere in those racing shots and Liam, I've jealous because I missed Bug Jam again this year :(

Here are some I did for a friend this week in return for him welding my old VW - the speedster is genuine, rare and valuable, so it's funny to watch his face when yet another person at the petrol station compliments his 'nice replica' :D

I love that - the contast between shapes works a treat, and the new/old thing is really cool.

I've been along to our local sailing club today to take some pics of a gentlemanly form of racing, pic is link to small gallery......

Woah woah woah, crossed wires here? Not quite there yet (unless you know something I don't!) but hopefully it's in the pipeline. Ta for the comments though.

Like the sailing stuff, very genteel. Keep meaning to go watch the beginners' windsurfing class near me for some potential comedy shots.

mole2k 29-07-2007 11:38 PM

Nice sailing shots!

I was supposed to get out and either photograph or crew in the yeoman class at my local club today but it ended up being too windy so we didnt get to do either, its a pitty because the high winds and fairly good sunlight would of produced some fantastic shots :(

Here's a yoeman shot I took at a regatta last year.

Thanks Mole2K,
I used to be involved in all forms of motor sport, but recently, it seems to be almost exclusively MotoX nowadays. Mostly as it leaves little time for anything else

First time i've picked up the camera in a while trying to get a special shot for a photocomp.

Another shot of the golf, still not sure on this technique. I think a 85 f1.2 would work better for it but I dont have the 1.6k to buy one :P.

http://www.mole2k.co.uk/rand/Golf_dof2_big.jpg

Halcalanky 20-08-2007 04:37 PM

what technique is it? :P

mole2k 20-08-2007 04:43 PM

I basically take lots of photos and stitch them together in a panoramic, to give me the viewpoint of about a 10mm f1.8 lens. Most of the pictures are made up from 100-150 individual photos.

Neat, what software do you use?

mole2k 20-08-2007 04:56 PM

Autopano pro, It seems to be the best for doing that type of shot its not that slow either. I have tried other programs but they struggled with very large panos.

P_B 20-08-2007 05:35 PM
