thanx guys for ur kind words had a fantastic 4 days racing i think i can hostly say thats gotta b one of the best meetings i had in qualifying and finals!:) qualifying in 5th 2wd and keeping my place. with the 4wd i couldnt imagine qualifying 3rd but not having the best of luck in the final with 2 breakages but hey i must of used up all my luck. but thats racing had a good 3rd final battling with mr reeves.
big thanks to big E for the use of the toe rope all weekend dragging me round! oh yeah and locking me in the toilet shed tryin to stich me up for the A in 4wd dont think he liked it i out qualified him lol ;) see u all at oswestry and keep an ear out for the slipper (my dad says its fine!!!!!) thnx again grant williams |
Hey guys, and faggets...
was a great experience for my son, Simon. 2wd was fast and furious. Missed the a finals on 4wd by own stupid mistakes and with a little help from a French asshooooole! Anyway, was a great race! For them who didn't know yet: Lee is an Aaaaaaaaaarschhhhhhh-hooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooole and drunk almost all the Red-bull. :p Many thanks also to Tony-dad-Phil for the details on the setup. You also, lee. Simon was so happy he got a hand from you. Hes def ready for Finland! Igor |
no worries Igor,
the one and only aaaasssssssrccchhhh hooooooole...... love you though......faggot. finland will be great..... make sure Simon has a B4 by then though!!!!! hahaha |
Lee, if you bring him an 'old' back-up B4, I wouldnt be surprised if he just glues his red-bull-body on, and gives it a try in the middle of the competition?!? Worth trying no? Has nothing to loose...
igor |
ahahahahahhaah...................................
if only i had the space to bring extras!!!! planes dont like extra weight!!! |
Hehe that won't be happening Igor, since they mark the chassis at the start of the euro's, so no switching cars :-) Ask Bob about the B4 vs Losi! (altough I admit I was impressed by the insane amount of steering these B4's had when simon & danny were driving Lee's and Tony's cars...)
Lee, do you mind sharing your setup from 2WD? I made a site where I put some setups online. http://www.rc-offroad.be/setup.htm There's one from you already, but it's very incomplete. Also did you run with the same setup all day, or did you make some small changes to compensate for the changing track? And finally, did you run new rear/front tyres each run? |
Take 8 instead of 10 bottles whiskey with you. Plenty room for an extra B4, no? :D :p :D
|
Shit flippo, now we need another strategy....
Serius now. Simon is begging for a B4 sinds last year already.... Why still Losi? Simple, Danny shows us the way through Losi. He couldnt help us with B4. Indeed, Simon was impressed while driving Tony's car. Next year we will see how far B4 can take him.... BTW not only the set-up from lee is incomplete.....Lee himself is a sort of incomplete patchwork....:D :D :D . Makes him so cute to the ladies!!! |
hahahahahahaha.....
yes, my mental exterior is quite strangely attractive to yourself igor!!!! danny was even very impressed by the B4, after saying all day he hated it.... flipside: i changed little bits on the car throughout the day.... ran the same frnt tyres all day.... rears did 2 runs each. ill attempt a setup for u..lol |

you're talking about one of the most friendly and fair-play chap I ever met, and I have been racing since 1990. He gets ALWAYS out of the fast lane to let faster drivers pass him without a fuss. I saw your son running, he was indeed really quick and I believe he has all the skills to pass slower drivers, right ? Maybe my friend didn't went of the way quick enough. Maybe he didn't went of the way at all; so what ? You have to cope with other racers. Everyone that has raced once know what I mean. But nobody gets as angry as you, thanks God. Anyway, my friend made you excuses for whatever bad driving/error he made, so don't get offensive, specially on a public forum. Good luck for the Euros; the "hole" neither I won't be here, so you'll have to find other things to blame if your son doesn't make whatever final you dream of. Raphael Gayoso |
calm down people!
its all for fun |
Its only a game.:)
I did see a dad stamp on a car once as it came down the straight because it took his sons car out at the start of the race:confused: |
hahahaah
its been known tht fighting has occured also..... Dresch and DB.... and 2 scottish families... |
I guess I will have to stop going to races when/if my son becomes addicted...
I have like 10 years racing left ! |
hi,
if you want some pictures from friday, click here ;) http://nondidju.e-bulles.be/v/Modeli...b/fridaytests/ |

I really appreciate Gayo comments on this issu and hope every drivers I meet agree with his statement.... Ask Dan G. and Chris L. how I managed their overtakes during qualify sessions ! @Red-Bull-Racing: 1. I tought the story was closed after our discussion and my apologies. So why do you talk about this story again? 2. Even if 'hole' or 'asshole' is a joke between you and other driver, why do you talk about me this way... I'm not a friend of yours! 3. Every time I've seen a dad encouraging his young son on race event, similar stories kick off: dad always see other drivers as bad guys and his son as best driver of the world. 4. Next time, if next time occurs, I will let your son cry (I remember well, 'cry' is the word you said to me just after our run, I supposed it was in order to make me feel guilty and feel pity for him) 5. The most important: Your son drives for fun, don't he ? Olivier |

I'd keep calm. go back to the pits, and nitro-morse the bas####s real car:) , or thinners as i'm not fussy:D . (always got some somewhere!!) |
Olivier, it was a private joke between him and Pidge, so it's not that bad.
Remember only all the fun and great racing we had !;) |
yeh please shut up about it now....its a joke...dont make it more than it is ok!!!!
|
Tony.. you better get that gearbox right until next year :) Or get a truck :P One gearbox less a sunday morning after a night in the tent is worth millions :)
[/quote] Sound like you all had a great time, and the track looked awesome. Well done all!! What happened to the gearbox? |
lol my slipper came undone once maybe twice could have been 3 times or was it 4?
|
Olivier,
I already apologised in #65. No need to hit twice. By the way, didnt Simon come to you after the 4th qual to thank you for your friendly overtake-move? So, no need to make him cry again next time you meet, ok? |
|
Everything's better then meeting the "Marshall from hell", like I did in 2wd. :D
I know you're not sopposed to complain about marshalling, but this was beyond anything I've ever seen. In the first final, the two cars in front of me tangled and that marshall ran over there like an unguided missile, kicking my car on his back in the proces. What made it worse was that he didn't see me lying there. I litterally lied there untill the leaders were lapping me. :eh?: One final ruined. The next final : HE DID IT AGAIN !!!  Kicking my car on its back while running to another car. You could start to think that the guy had a personnal problem with me, but I didn't know him ! Now that I'm here : thanks again to Grant Williams, his dad and Mark Newman for all the setup help they provided over the weekend. You Brits are ace ! |

Yes Simon came and said thank you, sure I appreciated his behavour. When I race, my goal is not to make someone cry but to be fair play as possible. So I regreat to deal with this story again in my previous post. That's the end of the story, ok? I think next time we meet each other, you and Simon, I will shake your hands and offer you a drink ;) Cheers Olivier |
Thanks Olivier!
This whole aaaaaaaaschhoooooooooooooooooole joke with Lee was on my stomag since Gayo reacted yesterday.... On ce verra a Paris, petit rc, avec un petit rosé dans le 18-tième! ;-))))) (without Simonneke) santé, Igor (d'origine haute-provence) |
