If you dont want the club to close over winter, get 10 people interested in racing there over the cold wet winter... I'm not going down there every other Sunday just to watch you and your madrat! If we had some astroturf down it wouldn't be so bad. But untill then I see no other choice.... Go to batley instead.

MRD 03-11-2009 08:08 PM

But James, its 9 bus's and a boat trip to get to Batley..........

stampede vxlboy 03-11-2009 08:09 PM

i have not used it since i last when racing i have been doing it up and never used it to bash about got 7 cars 4 of them are truck for bashing as you all know people dont bash buggy about. its just find a good club that not part time once every 2 weeks and closed all winter

So why did the B4 win the European Championships this year?

Have a look at the Team Assoicated website and you'll see how successfull Team Associated have been.

My Cat SX is mint and I've spent a small fortune on it, yet to sell it on I'll be getting £220 for it (new they are £300+ mine new is worth £400+ with the extras) . Oh and before anyone asks, no it's not for sale...

Because it's used it depreciates. Same as the £12k sat on my driveway that is now worth £3k 4 years on :(

If you want to get a unreasonable price for it put it on eBay. People here know there cars too well for people to sell things over priced.

That's what puts me off spending £15k on a R32

Sorry mate the car is worth a lot less. You will get more from spliting the car up, i.e rolling chassis, electrics etc.

The shocks should be on your B4 not this thing.

If you intend on racing next year, sell everything except the B4 and electrics for it. Ditch the silly 5.5 and get an 8.5 and go racing.

stampede vxlboy 03-11-2009 08:12 PM

That club is not the only club like that, tiverton 10th track has never had a winter series, we have got one this time but only because everyone was going to do the MAM's, so they did a winter series for us  now we can race forever ahahaha

Took me over an hour to traul through all the crap that you post simon, but this is what you said about your madrat few weeks ago - you sold it to your brother (sorry, not your uncle...) who sold it to your son. So you were talking shit either then, or you're talking shit now.

mikeyscott 03-11-2009 08:20 PM

Guys put people straight, but please less of the abuse.

I know a number of people here never listen and yes I've had enough too..

If you are skint then sell it all, get yourself sorted and then think about getting back into the hobby.

Said my bit and I'm off to do more important things..

MRD 03-11-2009 08:22 PM

Col gets the "Extreme Lengths To Prove A Good Point Award"

You sir are a legend.

Smartalec 03-11-2009 08:23 PM

Are all the electrics included mate?. What about the transmitter? ............ and the lipo?.

If you include all that plus the marble work top I might be interested for about £17.95 including postage

Col 03-11-2009 08:23 PM

Cheers Marky Mark

Col...

That was brilliant. At last people may realise that this chap posts repeated questions, doesn't listen, is abusive to people and quite frankly litters the forum.

Building a track and getting things up and running take time as well as money. Running a club is hard work.

I'd love to do more for my track, but the job doesn't always allow that.

If it had been OCUK he wouldn't have stood a chance on the forums...

Unfortunately It requires people to do the work.. I've spent hours down there and so have others. Next season we will be back and more work will get done then:thumbsup:

Stampy, as 4WD is more predictable surely it's even more boring (your words not mine) than 2WD??? With all the money spent getting your Madrat how you want it, isn't it better just to keep and enjoy it?
