Thats Neil's car and it looks like as you say they have put the shock tower onto the rear along with the alloy mount. We could do with some detailed information about these mod's and why certain team drivers do them and others don't.

I'll give it a go buddy.:)

Richard Lowe 21-04-2007 07:28 PM

They are trying it to get more weight over the rear apparently, it's nothing to do with Yokomo it's one of Mick's concoctions I think :)

NeilD 21-04-2007 08:28 PM

I've seen one of the cars in the flesh tonight.

Jimbo 22-04-2007 09:34 PM

Hey Neil, did you get ony goss on it?

NeilD 24-04-2007 03:04 PM

Only that it's meant to be better over the ripples, no mention of more rear grip. It was difficult to judge it as it wasn't the best driver piloting it.

johnnyboy 01-05-2007 07:17 PM

Any update on the new car? Pics?

Jonathan 01-05-2007 08:47 PM

Its built but no body yet....

NeilD 02-05-2007 06:13 PM

Looking good any ideas for the shell design?

Jonathan 02-05-2007 07:27 PM

Yes, the shell :)

I had a strong idea on how I wanted it but to try would have meant investing in the airbrush and paint and then as my first attempt how would it turn out ?

So I have dispatched it to a very popular shell painter to work his magic, I cant wait to see how it turns out ! Watch this space.

cabbynate 03-05-2007 12:25 PM

Anyone no the part # for the new body shell?

NeilD 03-05-2007 01:58 PM

Good idea Jonathan it's the only way i can get a decent looking shell.

The part number for it is BX-101F

Good to here. I'm still wighting for a response........

NeilD 04-05-2007 06:35 PM

Don't worry mate, Masa usually replies in 24hrs the only time he didn't (it took 48hrs) was because the shop had closed for a week.

WOW!!!!:) I can't believe the savings. Over $80.00 usd!!!!!!
The same order here in the US from a US supplier would have cost over $200.00!!!!!!! I paid $109.50 Shipped!!!!!!:) ;)
I think the Body shell was $12.00 USD instead of $29.99.
Ya gotta love it Mate....
Thanks again for that part #......
Nate

NeilD 06-05-2007 09:15 AM

Thats a really good price.

cabbynate 08-05-2007 06:40 PM

4 day shipping!!!! Faster than shipping from within the US. The new body shell (BX-101F) comes less the under tray though. Other than that the hole experience was ace!!!!!!!!!!:) Now I just need that rear upper deck and I will have the updated buggy. They did not have that in stock.....

IndyYokomo 09-05-2007 03:04 AM

New Body

Is the undertray available separately?

NeilD 09-05-2007 03:05 PM

I think it's the same as the current one?

The current one came with the body shell. We would need to see the parts list of the Factory BX to find out.

Jonathan 12-05-2007 01:54 PM

Heres an extract from the BXF parts list.

It shows the new body clear enough, so the undertray could be BX-102 as that isnt on the original BX parts list, no price next to it though ?

Jonathan 12-05-2007 02:05 PM

Ok, I can confirm BX-102 is the undertray and pulley covers, price shown as Y1,380.

what does the one-piece chassis do? more or less grip?

NeilD 28-05-2007 11:42 AM

It lowers the rear diff down and gives more grip.

johnnyboy 28-05-2007 07:26 PM

The Factory kit has the regular chassis.

Just send them an email to [email protected] and ask them if they have what you are looking for in English. Add the name brand and part # and they will respond with in a day or two.

neiloliver 24-06-2007 01:56 PM

Were the 'Factory' versions limited edition? Neither 'RC Champ' in Japan or 'RC Model' in Hong Kong have any left, with no idea when they will have stock again. It is not shown on the CML website either, only the original kit.

Hi guys,

Since now I'm writing with Masa "Japanesse Felipe" :p to order a complete car with a lot of parts I have the complete part list for the BXF

I've prepared an spreadsheet with all MR-4BX references that calculates the cost of the order (without shipping) while you enter the quantities.

I've added 3 new columns to the part list. 1st one is the quantity of every reference, cells turn to blue if you enter some amount in order to find them easily. Column 2 (Price Yen) calculates the price of that reference in Yen, at the end of clolumn 2 you'll find the final price of the order in Yen. Colum 3 converts colum 2 values to Euros, that's for me to get a better idea of the cost.

If any of you wnat to use just let me know.

Jimmy, could you upload an excell document here?

NeilD 06-07-2007 02:24 PM

Alberto, do you order your parts from RC Champ in Japan? They are the cheapest supplier and ship Worldwide.

albertobdq 06-07-2007 02:35 PM

I know RC Champ thanks to Jimmy. Now I'm ordering a BXF and every spare part I could need :p The complete order cost more than 100.000... does anyone want to sponsor me?
