only joking

Col 16-04-2007 11:16 PM

Sunday and 2WD only. The 4WD takes place a few months later.

chrispattinson 17-04-2007 06:37 AM

Overnight camping is not permitted by Nissan.

It is a one day event 2WD.

sosidge 17-04-2007 07:45 AM

Please use the maps instead of just relying on your Sat Nav. To get to the track you have to drive through the Nissan works car parks, I very much doubt the Sat Nav programs include a route through them as well!

LiamD 17-04-2007 04:17 PM

My route would be up A19 to the Nissan offices turning, then 1st exit off the roundabout, left at the lights, last exit off the next roundabout, then follow through the car park - it's pretty obvious where the track is.

When I went with my dad last year we had trouble getting the car up into the field. Had to dismantle the exhaust as it couldn't get up the curb with the end pieces on the exhaust. So if you have a low car, you might have problems...

emzy 17-04-2007 04:20 PM

I had issues actually aiming for the ramp... but then again, I had L plates on at the time!

Oh crap!

That said the BBC 5 days out is literally like guessing so could be anything!

bigred5765 18-04-2007 09:39 AM

emzy 18-04-2007 10:05 AM

But then again, I live about 10 minutes away from Nissan... and mid-afternoon yesterday we had a freak SERIOUSLY heavy shower for about 10 minutes... then it was gone again.

My mum works in Sunderland (10 mins the other side of Nissan) and they got nothing!

... and nothing was mentioned on the forecasts!

Lee 18-04-2007 10:15 AM

Hmmm spooky

Where is the best place to get BB greens from then?

loose 18-04-2007 11:48 AM

Hi, does the BRCA site have a list of who's registered for the regionals? I think I managed to register from my laptop at home, but thats playin up a bit now, and I cant get on the site at all from work (IT guys a little Hitler). If there is a list of entries could someone copy it onto this thread so I can see if I registered ok. (first time I've done this - soz).

Cheers ;)

super__dan 18-04-2007 11:50 AM

Oh crap I just realised I haven't booked in for any yet as my PC wouldn't let me on the site.

Bill if I haven't booked in online can you add me anyway - Dan Greenwood.

Many thanks

Spencer Mulcahy 19-04-2007 07:57 AM

Can I come and race as a guest as I am doing the north weat regionals but want to race this weekend.

Lee 19-04-2007 08:46 AM

The weather is lookin hot hot hot:)

Bring the sun cream, and spencer i think its at the race directors discretion to whether or not he runs a "heat of foreigners":D i cant see there being a problem as there is only 60 odd booked in so far.

chrispattinson 19-04-2007 08:59 AM

Spencer - Lee is right, a non-regional heat is planned as long as there are not too many regional entries.

I know there are a few club members hoping to run in a non regional heat. I believe the non regional heat will not be exclusively 2WD though.

I must stress I am not race director for the day, and this is just what I understand will probably be the case.

Not sure actually good question. Only takes about 40minutes to get there so not too early Im hoping.
Conflicting weather reports aswell. The Met and weatheronline say sunny/cloudy. BBC and weather.co.uk say rain.

Allan 19-04-2007 09:08 PM
