Kriske.

Hi were did u put the cap i dont see it

JohnM 16-09-2009 11:54 AM

If it's anything like mine, the cap is between the speedo and the motor, under the centre=front drive shaft.

GRIFF55 16-09-2009 12:45 PM

mine too, and a pt!

JohnM 16-09-2009 01:56 PM

I thought about putting the PT down there, but was worried that it might not get a signal through the metal chassis, have you had any probs with that Griff?

jimmy 16-09-2009 02:11 PM

I put my PTX between the motor and esc - vertical also (tho there was room to mount it flat) and no problems for me.

ive run bout all forms of ic car and they have alloy chassis, not a problem for pt on alloy chassis

JohnM 16-09-2009 02:50 PM

Cool, looks like I'm for a bit of rewiring then, don't reall like it sitting on it's side, looks messy.

jimmy 16-09-2009 03:08 PM

yeah!

GRIFF55 16-09-2009 03:16 PM

mines an amb pt and sitting flat between motor and speedo, its tight, but she'll go!! No probs on the first outing mate:thumbsup:

maxoo 16-09-2009 07:51 PM

Hi Ben,

That looks tidy, where is your rec in the car?
Have you put the PT on top just looks different.

Are those the Intell Lipo's you have in the car 4200???
I've got some coming sometime today thats all.

Andy,

A quick question, who painted your shell ?
I'm a yellow fan.

Cheers,
Erik

GRIFF55 17-09-2009 12:54 PM

I did it quickly, but mikovic has a few of mine now;)

Dunc 17-09-2009 01:40 PM

Looks like he has a Spektrum micro receiver sat underneath the front prop shaft (i.e. between the ESC and motor).

I think you're right about the batteries.

spektrum rx is under the centre drive shaft.

amb txponder is in car - just the lrp switch on top of it.

yep those are the 4200IP cells. they fit nicely. just a little bit of foam required down one side to stop them moving

It was TOTALLY covered in dust inside and out after this as you can imagine - a quick blow with the compressor and it's as good as new! Rubber covers are ace!

Sorry but i couldnt resist. Im not a great fan of rubber covers myself hehe :D...

All the cars look ace though. Tel that shell is one of the best i've seen. Really suits the body design. Good skills

NeilD 18-09-2009 10:11 AM

Tel that is the best shell ever! The King is back.
