Good move! I actually did a deal with this guy and now it appears to have turned sour unfortunately. I had the same with the pm's. Its a long story but I hope I can settle it with him amicably without sharing the whole saga here!
We will see!

If a reputable member hadn't told me he had seen him racing (ironing board for pit table) then I would have said it was an obvious wind!

Traxxas boy come down to bury indoors - there is an open class we have set up - run what you want no rules

One of yr bashers would be ideal and cost little to run

What you reckon?

Col 06-09-2009 08:27 PM

The B4 has not turned a wheel in anger for nearly 3 years, so it don't matter too much

stampede vxlboy 06-09-2009 08:28 PM

why do you have to take the piss out of me

Col 06-09-2009 08:30 PM

The offer is genuine, dude

NeilD 06-09-2009 08:31 PM

You've just had someone, very generously, offer to lend you their equipment for a nights racing and another member invite you to a meet at Bury. Thats not talking the piss.

Garry Driffill 06-09-2009 08:32 PM

Col has a pretty fly whip - Does that roughly translate?

stampede vxlboy 06-09-2009 08:37 PM

well i cannot get there and i would not go for you all to have a lough this site . as if i would with what everybody on this site as said about

sparrow.2 06-09-2009 08:54 PM

Just chill!

Search for B-Mag and read through all the endless threads. Then think about how you post, sit back and think about what you write. If you have a problem you want help with, do some research on the subject and then formulate a comprehensible question. Above all read the answers carefully and make sure you understand. If not, ask again.

Noone on here is a real dick, you just get kidded around a bit if you continuously spaz into your keyboard without thinking.

If you like RC you can't be half bad :)

Si Coe 06-09-2009 08:55 PM

Actually the offer really was genuine - Shanks and I were talking about it at Bury today.
Be a lot easier to sort your car out in person rather than over the web too. There will be people from your neck of the woods going - I think James who's track you've been to was interested so I suspect a lift is entirely possible. The open class is for trucks, monsters, short course and electric 8ths, so your entire collection is eligible, its a purely for fun class so there will be be much silliness and no snobbery and most importantly no one will be laughing at you, mostly as they will no doubt be laughing at my constantly upside down cars and 'Team Durga' Andy and his 'aggressive' driving style.

stampede vxlboy 06-09-2009 08:58 PM

james wont take me i have no transport sorry

Si Coe 06-09-2009 09:00 PM

Well the first round is not till November anyway, so I reckon I can find a way to get your over by then. Quite a few yorkshire Ooplers take part, sometimes even Jimmy himself. Quite why the Lancashire border guards let them in I don't know.......

I used to live in Saddleworth, which proudly proclaimed itself 'The last bastion of civilization before Yorkshire'.

Though it should be pointed out that as I'm actually from London, Yorks and Lancs alike are all Northern scum really.........

So did I. But I used Wikipedia so its probably wrong.
Though I suspect you used Yorkipedia where it claims everything of importance was invented in Yorkshire.

Col 06-09-2009 09:21 PM

Local to Keighley -
Batley
Bury
York
RHR
and of course Keighley that you've tried once of have given up on.

There are people on this forum who travel over 100miles round trip to race, so don't even think that Bury or York are not local to you!

You came ONCE, there WERE track markings and always have been, there were TWO jumps and the pitting area WAS there but you didn't bring a table. Dont blame the club because you weren't prepared.

It's not a good idea to slag clubs off. Volunteers put a lot of hard work in so we can race. The hosing is mean't to stop the cars you drive between the hoses.;)
