hi isobarik,

I hv been looking for LAW12 for months...May I know where did u get it?

thanks alot....=)

Welshy40 07-09-2009 12:25 PM

Unsure but I am still looking. If you have a ZX slipper system on your car then the other alternative as Terry stated earlier on this thread is the reverse one way and I think that the part number is either LA6 or LA4

isobarik 08-09-2009 10:14 AM

I can order it for you and send it to you shall check how many i can get my hands on.

mvh isobarik

mvh Isobarik

thanks very much. Im also looking forward to getting it.

Where did you manage to find the zxs parts? However dont use the front gearbox as the design has a fault. If you roll the car they break as the strength was cut away in the design. Im still working on the prototypes as we speak.

isobarik 28-09-2009 01:56 PM

Will send the clutch´s on thursday.

Always woundered why they did the lazer zxs fron gearbox 4 pieces :thumbdown:que ...

The hardest part to find is still the LAW 20-1 have you come up with an replacement for that ???

mvh isobarik

rob m 29-09-2009 06:05 PM

lazer zxr mk3

me again, couldnt put pictures up on here,so ive put them in my profile albums, did they all come with carbon fibre and 1 way front diffs from new? because the carbon bits on the pics above are different to mine?(are they mk3?) if any one could tell me a roundabout price of what i should sell it for that would be great ,thanks

Welshy40 29-09-2009 07:51 PM

Rob,

the lazer looks much like a hopped up zx rather than a mk3. Firstly the slipper kindof gives it away as the mk3 had the spur attached via two screws much like associated used to do. Secondly the shocks are gold and option house and they i believe were not on the mk3, so looks like either a wasp top deck and either wasp or fibre lyte front and rear shock towers and could possibly be a different zx chassi with the cells fractionally further back. Also a cf zxr steering plate but would appear to be added at a later date. Looks great though and good to see the alloy pivot blocks so you shouldnt break that in a hurry as its one of the toughest to break.

Ema 30-09-2009 01:49 PM

It seems that the NIB Zx-Zxr suspension arms became really expensive ...

Come one guys, who win the auction ?

Bye
Ema

isobarik 30-09-2009 04:31 PM

:woot: damn i think i have to put mine up to auction.

And all those ot93 that i have.

mvh isobarik

Welshy40 30-09-2009 04:42 PM

Hehe they were tge zx ones and in my opinion the strongest. Before you do ebay pm me first as i will take a few wishbones off your hands.

is all that good or bad then?thing is how much would it sell for,ive just got myself a b44,so got to many cars now! but the lazer is the first car i got many years ago saving all my paper round money,so its a bit sentimental to me(yeah im sad,i know) so if it will only fetch say £40 id rather keep it,any guesses:confused:?

You have made me laugh out loud, it makes a change as normally i have all the contacts around the world. Nice to see someone else with some great investigation skills.

isobarik 05-10-2009 12:27 PM

Yeah you can laugh all you want but i think it will stop when i wake you in the morning to pushing LA228´s in the street corners...

Btw have you recived the package ?? i can see that it is in uk

mvh isobarik

Welshy40 05-10-2009 06:23 PM

Hehe why have you got a few la228?

I still have not had a delivery yet. Will let you know when i do. Also hope to soon post pics of my zxs with proto lipo cell trays. Its coming together, hope to soon have made out brass as well as the rear top deck mount. Also i think next week if everything goes well that we have cracked the strength issue for the la11 pulleys. I need to test a little while more but has not died on me so far. Thats what the spares are for, just in case we need another one for a mold. Once we can get the layshaft pullies correct then the diff gears will be next and the ones I will be testing are a different design and super smooth diffs making it easier to work on compared to the gritty diff design in the standard kit
