Great day.. Really enjoyed it. grass racing on a sunny day has to be the best. Cool video. Looking forward to the next one.

RickRick 15-06-2009 09:23 PM

Jim videos quite a few of our meetings, http://www.youtube.com/user/SLMCarclub should work
it's not all sensible racing clips there's some monster truck action mixed in

Just been watching the video from the steamfair last year, got a good crowd watching us too. we're there again this year 25th 26th of july, camping over the friday night before then normaly do 4 heats 2 finals and a 1 hour endurance race each day and maybe just the odd beer during the day

Very very true but then that would of made it easy!

woOdy 22-08-2009 06:32 PM

Does anyone out there want to sell me some Schues yellows 4wd for tomoz? Col?

RickRick 22-08-2009 07:09 PM

atleast a classic grass track still gives loads of grip, and minimal spray in the wet, i'm almost looking forward to a bit of rain!

Yeah, I got a 4wd set Stu, although looking at the weather you might not need them. Forgot to get them springs back off you too at the last regional mate.

Stu 23-08-2009 06:04 PM

Well, it did what it did today, can't say we didn't try - twice.

Shame when the club puts in so much effort, but hey ho - that's just the way it is.

The series will be scored on 3 rounds from 5 - full results will be posted soon.

Provisional's are Colin May winning 4wd & Chris Evison winning 2wd.

Stu.

Chrislong 23-08-2009 06:10 PM

SO who got F2, F3, F4, F5 etc etc etc.

Shame the weather was poor for you, I wasn't going to be there either way . Id have found an excuse, but I had a valid one today.
