OOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHH AAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRGGGGHHHHHHHH !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Fabs 30-03-2009 12:51 PM

i couldn't carry any speed onto the triple with the 4WD, only in the last race did I find that if I didn't back off as much it'd not spin as much then as my race was over anyway I ad a bit of fun trying the triple every lap, and managing a few times...

I think Lewis wanted the Pred chassi's back to check why they broke. Maybe a 15 foot drop at 25mph was not the cause?

:lol::lol::lol: lmao. after hearing what nath did when he broke it i think it might of been nearer 20 foot and last minute avoiding what he though was someone on the big jump hence not even caring how it landed as long as it didnt hit anyone....... shame he forgot that latter when he nearly took out his team mate greg :woot::p. in his own words and with hindsight he would of ran a standard plastic non cut chassis as that did take the same punishment 3 times through the event

It should be put in the Tate modern, and be called - The challenges of the air - or, - not all air is good for you - :)

It'd fetch millions!

Who won the raffle prizes? Did I win anything?

Must say that after watching some of that video footage I think the jumps were WAY over the top. Very glad I didn't enter now as I really would not have enjoyed the day.

:wtf:

James 31-03-2009 12:09 PM

You choose whether you jump them or not you know :bored:

Richard Hamblin didn't jump any of them all weekend in 4wd and finished 7th for example..

There was an easy option for all the features, you make your own choice !

Kecky 31-03-2009 12:12 PM

The great thing about the jumps, was if you were having a bad run, you could have some real big air fun

I was watching the racing on sunday and have to disagree with you there.
The track looked awesome to race on. The guys who spent all day thursday on making the track deserve a pint or two for there efforts.

well done worksop crew.

Belsten 31-03-2009 12:43 PM

I thought the track was cock on. Not easy to get right every lap if you were going for the big air but extremely rewarding when you did. Being the reedy style format too, you could always go for the safe option with no errors which could reward you with a good finishing position in the heat

I had a quick look at the coverage on sunday and thought exactly the same ;)

Kecky 31-03-2009 12:50 PM

I really think if you'd have been there, you would have changed your mind.
The track was really rewarding, but as said before, could also be taken safely without any drama :)
