An anecdote for you. Many moons ago I started Uni whilst my mate (bright lad) went and worked in McD's. 12 years later, he's a McD's Franchise manager and earns a shed load more than me as a qualified Engineer.

I still wouldn't swap with him though..:woot:

You need to go contracting ;)

Darren Boyle 20-11-2008 04:55 PM

Its not the pennies you should worry about Lee.........

You could give Ben a job permanantly valeting your fleet of vehicles, by the time he has finished the last one, the first one would surely need cleaning again, what with 22 inch wheels on the RR and a show room shine needed on the 360 he would have more then enough work to do.

That what way Lee he can stay at your house, unless of courtse you are already parked outside his (then he really hasnt got far to go to work!!)

Lee 20-11-2008 04:59 PM

I have had ben in my car (in a totally non-gay way) i would never let him in my house. :woot:

Should i be worried about the Frank root hat

David Church 20-11-2008 05:06 PM

This is all sooooooooooo wrong!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL

Yes, I think you might be right. Degree qualified Mechanical Engineer, Autodesk Inventor proficient. How do I find a contract?:)

Lee 20-11-2008 11:12 PM

Put your CV on Jobsite.co.uk or oilcareers, oilandgas jobsearch, agents will call you and if your successful for the role you turn your ~30k into 130k over night ;)

Southwell 20-11-2008 11:34 PM

Whats the quickest way to earn loads then? Im thinking about a career change, computers networks are getting boring, especially when idiots which break the system (and i end up fixing) are getting promoted ahead of you.

ben 20-11-2008 11:46 PM
