Its a shame also that it wasn't his fault that he lost it is was Ferraris fault

Well done though he defo deserved it, Gooo Lewis  I think he should give up F1 now and go back to RC Racing

Chris Doughty 02-11-2008 07:17 PM

I thought that was the best bit

I did feel a bit sorry for massa as the team had obviously told him he had won.

I'm glad he won though despite the FIA doing their best to prevent it:thumbsup:

bigoggy 02-11-2008 07:17 PM

does anyone know what sort of results he used to get when he raced rc? and what class did he race?

i thought it was funny , all the bad desitions that the fia have done to hamilton this year that favoured ferari and they still lost , thats justice

MotoRev 02-11-2008 07:17 PM

He's big mates with Glock from GP2, so go figure...

It was exciting for a while there..

I suppose Toyota being a German run team with a German driver wouldn't think twice about helping Mercedes would they?

I like Massa now (not like supporting and cheering for him and stuff, just respect)

I agree, top chap; 'i know how to win and i know how to lose' .. something to remember! Congrats to Lewis, i'm exhausted :D

I felt bad for Massa, and Pappa Massa, whooping in the pit lane, and for 15 seconds, his son, in his eyes, was world champ..... I heard that Ferrari will be asking for an investigation into Toyota's SUDDEN loss of pace..... but that was from a Ferrari fan..... My sister was cheering for all of 10 seconds too..... man, what a race...

McLaren, they played it way WAY to safe, a pitstop that late, they would of been far better running the risk......

Flippin' 'eck, thats us Brits for you, we can't just cruise to a victory can we, its always got to be a nail-biter. Glad that the boy done done it though (as Mark Blundell would probably say).

c0sie 02-11-2008 10:05 PM

Oh how id love to do Suzi Perry @ Gadget Show thingy..

Alfonzo 02-11-2008 10:09 PM

What a race, what a finish - I thought I was having a heart attack

I've been watching F1 for 20 years, '07 and '08 have been the best seasons ever.

telboy 02-11-2008 11:02 PM

That was just plain awesome!!!

I don't think I've ever been so nervous watching an F1 race.

The looks on the ferrari guys was class.

i do feel for Massa, obviously being told he was champ, and then being told he wasn't. Bad move by Ferrari, should've just said 'wait until Hamilton crosses the line, then we'll tell you'.

I've always liked Massa though (I like the clowns who throw it off the track all the time when they're starting out in F1) so didn't mind too much if he won title, although obviously, I preffered Hamilton to win it.

Heard lots of rumours about investigations, but I think there would be uproar if anything was done.

besides, if there was, hopefully Massa would say to drop it, as I would hope he wouldn't want to win a championship that way.
Remembe last year? when the williams and BMW were being investigated for irregular fuel?...which would have given hamilton the championship, Hamilton said that he didn't want to win it that way as it wasn't fair, and everything was dropped.

Well done Lewis!!:thumbsup::thumbsup:
