any tips for a newbie?...I get it, it`s a competition, just some general things worth keeping an eye on....

did you read the guide? some good basics in there. just share set ups with your team mate to maximise the car set up. don;t run the risk levels too high until you find the safe levels to push at as you will crash otherwise!

Yeah, I did read the guide. Got a general idea of how things work, risk levels being my main concern. So approaching the slowly, but steady from the bottom...OK....just one more quick question: Do the driver characteristics come into play when altering the risk levels?

yes they do. if you go for something like consistant then you can push the speed level up in a race with out crashing so easy.
pole sitter king is the only one that really affects qualifying.
thinker affects testing in that you can test at 100% without fear of crashing in practice

Told you to watch the Ferrari's. Fastest in first two sessions, and Chris wasn't even around to set the car up!
It still won't let me sack him which is a bit worrying, so it looks like i may be on my own this season! :(

It's interesting because I joined one public game day ago and one driver was sacked during warmup.

Lee - as game creator can you see if you can sack Chris D? Just wonder if you have the power as the perosn who set up the league. I thought he was supposed to be removed after 3 days of not logging in anyway.

Just little thought - don't you need driver that will replace Doughty to sack?:confused:

i found out how to do it. Just need someone else to join the game mid season and replace anyone who hasn't logged in for more than 3 days. One of my work mates has taken the seat.

Well, now I don't know, if Col May is playing or not.

Why is the game going so fast? I thought it was 1 session a day. A 2 day regional really cocked up the start to my season :thumbdown:

quali started straight away when Lee pressed the big button. you normally have 12 hours or so before quali once the game is officially started.

How come we are about to start the second race then? I didn't get chance to practise, qualify or warmup :(

first quali happened when Lee started it Friday
first race saturday
next quali sunday
second race today

I didn't get to practice or qualify either Northy [because of the regional]. Still scraped 6th though :)

Right chaps, i know racing seems to get in the waf of peoples fight for the batracer crown so on national weekends would people like me to pause it from the thursday evening and then re-start it monday?

I dont mind either way but a simple yes/no would be good :thumbsup:
