Saddle chassis made a big improvement on mine, well worth a go. I also found under lipo weight could be added if the track got slippery and this felt better than the regular stick layout but with similar stability. The t-layout looks worth a go too!

I never ran weight on the bulkhead but did run an under servo and under speedo weight.

No I live in Belgium. Need to try with adding weight, but i would never put it way up front, maybe behind or under servo. And maybe some under lipo. A heavier car should be a bit easier to drive and more stable at bumpy astro tracks (like you have in the UK).

Rear embedded skidplate

3 Attachment(s)
Since it's allways the back of the X6 chassis that gets worn-out the worst (for me anyway).
I made this: An embedded rear skid / wear plate. So it can be replaced if it gets worn

Needed:

- Random scrap piece of Aluminium / Stainless steel (~ 1 / 1,5mm thick)
- (Acces to) a mill / cutter
- 5 minutes of spare time.

( I know the pictures are not anywhere near of "Jimmy would approve" quality , but you get the idea......)
