Any news ?

Big G 13-02-2012 12:42 PM

if you log into the TD website and then navigate to the v3 page you can add the kit to your backorder list. TD will then email you when they come into stock. simples :D

Rebelrc 13-02-2012 01:22 PM

Not that simple as I have paid for it at local shop.
And am supposed to be using it at maritime on the 25th of feb
In my busy life I need to allocate time to build this car so I need info now

Big G 13-02-2012 01:52 PM

Appreciated, but if you are alerted that TD have them in stock then you will know your shop should have them in stock shortly after. :)

Can anyone shed any light on what the reason for this delay is??

To my knowledge, there was an extremely small number got shipped around September / October time and nothing since...

I run a DEX210 and I like it, and I also have no intention of running a 4WD so there are no hidden agenda's or anti Durango conspiracies on my part.

But it does seem like those that have had one on pre-order for the best part of 4 or 5 months now are being taken for a ride. As far as I am aware everytime it is delayed there is little or no explanation, only a new date given. A new date which invariably gets pushed back as well.

So does anyone actually know what is going on?

^^^^^^^^^^^^^
thats exactly why I have cancelled my order and gone for a b44.1:thumbdown:

Antho_Fr 13-02-2012 06:08 PM

Just bought the last Rv3 from mb shop...availaible and cheaper than a v3

Rebelrc 14-02-2012 07:46 AM

I wonder what today will bring? Any new v3 news?
I tried ringing TD but couldn't get through .
I think it is a really poor show keeping customers in the dark like this
Have they ever commented on this stock problem anywhere?,,,
I find this very odd as usually they are very good. Maybe the FB rumours are true! Hope not for the customers sake.

Rumours? Spill..... (or link!)

matthew 14-02-2012 02:25 PM

What rumours is that then mate??

matthew 14-02-2012 03:31 PM

another couple of weeks

ron63 14-02-2012 05:21 PM

It's funny to read almost every second week a new release from TD....8th e Buggy,Truggy, 2WD SC... but they are not even able to have enough "old" releases in stock. Great job, TD!
As for me, i bought the first DEX410, destroyed a couple of diffs, got rid of it and bought a B44.1.
Thanks, i'm cured!:p
Totally happy with my B44.1 since that.

Rebelrc 14-02-2012 05:26 PM

How do you know yet another couple of weeks mathew?
Are TD posting info some where else

matthew 14-02-2012 05:36 PM

I rang them today and they said a couple of weeks but I can guarantee it will be longer as the guy at durango didn't sound to sure, this is why i canceled.

For awesome customer service - SX3

lambert 14-02-2012 07:57 PM

me to just got my b44.1 instead turned up today imagine how bad parts are going to be if thats the customer service there giving for the kits:thumbdown:

matthew 14-02-2012 08:10 PM

They must be losing alot of business, stupid really because they do make good cars, shame.

Rebelrc 14-02-2012 09:49 PM

Looks like no news is bad news then in this scenario then!
Disgusting that no light has been shed by TD to the people who WANT! To give you money! There's got to be a reason why a usually very helpfull ,verbal, informative company goes all quiet on it's customers?

gddevey1012 14-02-2012 09:50 PM

Im quite sure that following the full transition of buisiness from Previous owners to new then all the issues can be solved Very quickly.

Unfortunatly in buisiness a sale of a company is not an instant thing takes about 90 days to be complete and until it is either complete or falls thru for whatever reason neither side will put money into it.

As a customer it sucks however !

would be nice of one of the durango team to put all these pointless rumors and scaremongering to bed however.
