x10 set-up
 

As a little tip Beetroot, the pred works best with part worn tyres on the front, almost bald with brand new ones on the back. With new tyres on the front you always get over steer andvery lively backend. Tom Yardy's kiddy set-up on "the-pred" (thread started by alrg500 i think) seems to work pretty well most places.

To bring this one back on track a little bit. I understand that you can adjust the rear antisquat by changing the rear inboard block (or even the rear toe block?). But I did not find an optional one on the Team Xtreme site nor any hints (like adding washers under the inboard block instead of using optional parts etc.) in the manual. :confused:
Same with the adjustable droop that's stated on the cover of the manual but at least I found the droop screws ... ;)

right to clear up! it may sound so basic and i dont think it tells you in the setup guide but try tightening the front diff so its slightly tighter than the front on slippery surfaces and tighter to the rear on grippy! this really worked for me as a start point! leave all the rest to kit standard for the first race then dial it in like any oter car! can remember my exact setups but ill post them once i get my car running again! and if your wondering im the one that made garry pred mad!

I'm wondering about that too, I don't have my X11 yet, should be this week, but I think there still need to come parts or you just have to put washers under the current block.

Mine is still in the box. From looking at the pictures in the manual it is possible that the block will contact the spur gear in case the washers are too thick. :eh?: I think I will give it a try while bulding. ;)

Just had a look at the whole issue and I don't think adding shims under the block will allow for anti-squat adjustments because there is not enough room for the block to move upwards. The spur is too near.

I guess that Xtreme will release different suspension blocks for AS adjustment in the future.

I think as standard the x11 has 3 degrees of anti squat so in theory all you will want to do is reduce it.

I think Team Extreme said that they were going to get some blocks made with less.
