Going with saddles looks to be the best way to keep wiring short.
|
is the spur metal or plastic?

Look nice :).
Do you think it will do a 20/30 min final on one set of cell's, if not it doesn't look like a quick battery change  http://www.mark.christopher.btintern..._5933-copy.jpg |

I took the safe bet and just got 6500mah lipos but im sure normal 5000ish should do 15mins. Dont forget your running 4 cell and not 2 cell, so in my case id have 13000mah to dispose of and a typical 5000mah lipo would obviously have 10000mah |
I think ur wrong there. U will have 4s with 6500 mah capacity.
|
depens how he wires them up doesnt it , he could have 4s at 6500mah or 2s at 13000mah
|
4s would be the way i would wire it up

I'm wondering if this car is light enough (I bet is not much heavier than a Losi SCTE) to put a Pro-4 4600kv motor in it, if so, you could run 2s wired in parallel for huge runtime. That would be pretty cool.. |
It looks nice alright, but apart from electronics instead of a cylinder head poking through the body, what's different on this car? Different chassis plate, sidepods, spur and slipper, other chassis parts as well perhaps? I'd love to see a list of things that are developed/changed specifically for the DEX408 :p

It's stock front and rear ends, no slipper.
