the X2C is an exelent car to drive, i had my first outing on friday night at rubble vally, what is an tight indoor carpet track, with a couple of setup changes the car was exelent. some of the club racers where even swaping to their 4wd cars to keep up.

the X2C is one of those cars that come arround once in a while effortless to drive.

what springs do you guys use?

also does anyone know if the 22 rudebits under saddle weight would fit the x2c?

Ive tried different associated springs but came back to kit springs- not sure what rating they are. I differ to most and dont run any extra weight other than the alloy front bulkhead.

Mad Monkey has bushes rather than ballraces, a wider chassis for transverse stick packs (the x2c has a narrower chassis and takes saddle packs), it comes with a pre-printed shell and wing with no clear option readily available (someone here makes and sells them and they can be purchased from Hong Kong). The x2c has adjustable turnbuckles whereas to adjust the Monkey's tie rods you have to pop off a ball cup. Not sure if the x2c comes with any tyres.

I think that's all.

how much are the upgraded idlers?

gordy 31-10-2011 08:20 PM

i think mk are doing them for £10 the pair. having said that i haven't had a problem with the stock ones on my x2c with 8.5 motor

SamRCRacing 31-10-2011 08:24 PM

ill get some upgraded ones but keep stock ones in and see how long they last.

stumpiey 31-10-2011 08:28 PM

i run AE blues up front with 40wt oil and AE Greens with 30wt oil, iv cut the top two coils off as they are a little long and i couldnt get the ride height i wanted, i will sort a set up sheet out at some point:)

I badly want a x2c but need to sell my 22 first
