Isn't that just the piece of gaffer taper that's likely holding just the sides of a chopped up undertray on? It is sitting on a roll of tape ;)

It's a good job but I think weight slightly too far forward with the 3+3 combo like that.

Yes there is tape on it but look very closly at the photo. You will notice velcro down the side next to the batteries, it has to be stuck to something. Also note the the batteries are sunk into the chassis. These 2 things alone give heavy weight to my deduction, I think.
