Tom3012 11-02-2008 06:43 PM

ill be honest, and i dont want to upset anyone, maybe its just me... but it doesnt look finished?? the front c-hubs are still all square and gangly and a few of the other parts dont look finished in my view...

now i know its not a massive company with unlimited resources but i still wouldnt buy it.

i think the serpent is a much more refined model myself, maybe thats because of its production facilities but still

just my view lads and ladies :)

The only thing i dont like about the car is the slipper its like the bj4 slipper aka a diff qould be interesting to see if you coudl get a d4 or b44 slipper in there.

It's a racing car made for men, not a dress made for women and poofs.

Also, by keeping the design simple, they probably saved half the cost of that particular part. If I made that part in my shop, I'd charge at least 2-3 times as much to round off all the corners, or add anything else besides simple right angles, because it would take literally twice as long just to round the corners as it did to make what they have there.

Hey Ash, the slipper is easy to adjust, and its quick release so no problem getting it out of the car.

grindog 11-02-2008 07:24 PM

will the shocks be available as option parts? i would like to try them on my current car as i wont be able to afford one for quite a while:thumbdown:

Micha_MX4 11-02-2008 07:26 PM

I think for the short term they will be sending out kits to all the preorders, but i'm sure they will be available seperatley soon.

Yes, just loosen the screws on the carbon straps and they pivot round. You can then tilt the spur and get the cells out.

mattym0310 11-02-2008 07:35 PM

i think the car looks real good. looking forward to seeing it being run on the track.

Gotcha, from the pictures it looked like they could spin freely :)

Looks good. The meshing system is definately different but it should work well. Shocks look lovely.
