Loving the shape of the rear wing too - the whole car (based on that Drawing) looks really good so far.

The car does look nice and im sure it will work well......but....i dont think it will be as close to the durango as people think as the durango was obviously very expensive to make and i doubt it would be much cheaper for serpent to make either as these are not a thunder tiger etc and have stuff made in china.

I think it will use quality materials as they do in all their kits but expect to pay for it. I imagine this would be up there with the aero`s and S4 price tags.

Because the S500 is slim, it comes from a well established company with a long history of winning designs, is backed by the very guy who brought us 'slim' and for the simple reason it's one more competitor for potential customers to choose from.

Sorry, not trying to stir things up - just an observation. Tis excellent times for us racers though, spoilt for choice! :)

I agree with you Al, as much as I like the Aero, there is a wiff of the T/Tech about the company, how easy will it be to get bits for if they don't sell enough cars? Its not the easiest business to make money from if you only sell race cars. At least Serpent have been around for a long time.

I'd love a S500, but I think I'd be getting a divorce if I do:lol:

Thats a great question I'd love to wheel one of these. All of the slim chassis 4wd conversions and Kits in the U.K. cost a fortune to get over here. Serpent is the first I know of that could offer us this style design with having to pay upwards of $600.
