Ahh, I'll be mid-west for this year anyway. I'll wait for the tyre list. I guess its unlikely they'll be different to the nats, but I'll wait anyway.

Thank you.

Indoors and yellows dont work as its like driving on ice, greens have a bit more bite, but other options seem to be the way to go.

Well Caldicot seems interesting as I never raced on anything else but carpet down there so should be fun, and will try yellows as well as greens in practice.

But for this surface that im racing on the 1/8th cars seem to have more grip than me big time. Yellows dont work at all and the tyre wear rate is hardly any, I raced three fifteen minute practice sessions and they didnt wear, but the grip was non existant on the rear (yellows) and some grip on the front (greens), but zero wear rate. I had to smooth my driving style big time. When they wear they should grip more.

What about ballistics? I also did think about proline, losi and various tires that work on clay so may go down that route.

Proline M3 tire are quite common for 8th scale, they might be using them, if thats the case then some Proline M3 holeshots might be pretty dialled (B4 and B44 kit tires)

Cheers, will give it a try. I do recall the tires that came on the B2 were quite good on tarmac, so time to experiment with the B4/B44 tires and have some fun in the process.
