B44 with Atomic Carbon upgrades
BJ4

There already is:

B4 ;)

Check out the shop. Although, this might get tweaked when I get round to putting it on my car! Need more time :(

Chris Doughty 31-01-2008 04:30 PM

Tom3012 31-01-2008 05:29 PM

i wouldnt mind some bling bling shiny ones to go with the washers northy :D...

any rough guide price?

Northy 31-01-2008 06:26 PM

I'll look into a stainless kit tomorrow then, we are talking for the FULL car I guess?

Do you want ali for the none load-bearing areas, and stainless for the other areas? Or full stainless?

Cheers,

G

what would be better? i only one them as an asthetic touch;) so wouldnt need them all over.. jus shock towers, top decks thats bout it?

Mike Hudson 31-01-2008 07:38 PM

Which would be best for outdoors when wet?

Northy 31-01-2008 08:06 PM

Well:

Stainless doesn't rust
Ali doesn't rust

If you racing in the wet I'd say a full stainless kit with no load-bearing screws in blue Ali. Best of both worlds, no rust AND bling

Could you make up a screw set like this for me? Would it also be posible if you could make up an X6 screw kit also?

Northy 31-01-2008 08:16 PM

Mike,

I'll price them up for you and let you know the score

I got some whities and some blue bling in the post today, good stuff

Can the people that are interested in a mixed screw kit for the B44 please pm me.

It will include:

* Blue aluminum screws for the low load bearing areas

* All other fasteners in stainless steel (apart from diff bolts etc)

* Blue countersunk washers to spread the load in strategic areas

* Lots of blue aluminium nuts to replace the nuts throughout the car (wow - theres a lot on it isn't there!)

Thanks,

G

hi northy,.... id want all stainless, and blue countersunk washers on the top decks and the shock towers.. plus i may be running double front shock towers, so would need longer screw there.. am i being awkward? :(

Tom,

I can sort anything out you want, given enough time! :)

Do you really want countersunk screws and blue washers to replace all the screws on the top deck (where the carbon fibre is countersunk)?

Cheers,

G

just wondered are the nortech thongs only available in white or do you have other colours available ??

MK999 01-02-2008 07:12 PM

quick slightly off topic question, what are the B4 screw kits made out of? I'm desperately trying to justify putting blue stuff on my car and so far i only came up with "i'll have loads of spare screws" :woot:
