quick insight to how the car went,

after running an x-6 and now using one of these they feel wayy differnt, after round 1 and 2 was just finding my feet with the car and round 3 i made 8th in the a final at york just LOL.

cant wait to run it again, feels like this car has alot more to offer just yet...

very happy chappy !

mattym0310 03-02-2008 09:54 AM

just to let y'all know, i had a go with garrys s2 and i found it really great to drive. my x6 was also good last night. they both feel very different to each other.

matdodd 03-02-2008 10:42 AM

Go on then, In what way? :)

xx4-nutter 03-02-2008 12:51 PM

after a few tweaks here and there electronically it seemed better towards the end of the night, northys flat clear shell made the car feel better for some reason ? i felt more confident with the car once it was like that.

mattys x-6 was ace felt like it had more front end grip to my car but with a little more work i can see my S-2 getting there, feels like its got more to offer and for me to unlock as a driver and help progress my racing ! ( come on S-2 you can give me my F3 this year !!! )

Thanks

The production car will have the cells in trays which slide forward and aft.

Assuming the west midlands isn't under water or blown away completely then yes, I'll be there:thumbsup:

so what is the best low-pro servo to use in the s2? airtronics, futaba,jr,hitec? model # I would prefer a digital but analog is ok.

Body Paint 08-02-2008 12:43 PM

I have a KO 2413 in and it is superb, I can't feel the difference between that and my 2363 (normal profile) both of which are digital.

Some people also use the 2413 in their S4's and are very pleased with them.

GRIFF55 08-02-2008 12:54 PM

2413 for me, 2wd and 4wd, both excelent and digital

I've got a Futabu S9550 low profile servo in my S4 and 1 will be going into the S2. Very good and reliable.

Haggis,

I've been thinking about a low profile servo myself for my 2wd. I see from the specs it's 0.1sec, does this feel fast enough on track?

How much are these bad boys?

It's certainly faster than my Airtronics servo that I ran last year and feels a tad smoother than my 2363 but no slower. IMO the 2413 is ideal for 2wd, not to snappy but still very fast lock to lock.

Think they're about £120

I think I know why you want a low pro servo and it is the same as I am planning.

super__dan 09-02-2008 03:07 PM

;)

DMS do them for £90 but until Lipo comes out and I change the car to ONLY run that it will most likely stay as it it for now. Will look super__trick though!

Good spot!

Whilst the big spended in me is tempted I might hang on until I actually need one.
