The call of 3 days racing in nottingham was just too much to resist.

Dudders 24-08-2011 11:42 PM

DBoots GP? Good luck, fly the flag high!

Dudders 25-08-2011 04:08 PM

Bejesus!, not used to this grass actually 'growing' malarky!. Cut it for the second time today and I think it will need doing Saturday as well

Looking rather nice if I do say so myself, enough of the rain thanks, lets have some sun for 2 days please to dry the surface!

Sounds like I'll be missing lots of fun this SUnday. Hopefully see you all on Tuesday. :)

Thanks!

Thanks to everyone at the club for making us and our boys so very welcome! ESP for help, mechanical advice and repairs! Even though we came away needing repairs & upgrades (£) we all had a great time! And the bacon butties were excellent! Served up with lovely smiles and chat! keep up the good work!

Dr_UpGrade 28-08-2011 04:32 PM

Top day:thumbsup: Still not sure how I managed a 12 lapper in the wet and only 11 in the dry :woot:

I will beat Mark, not keep finishing 0.1s behind him :D

Dr_UpGrade 28-08-2011 07:08 PM

Just a few more weeks with the tuning of the mid motor for you, and I think it'll be down to 0.02sec!!

mikeyscott 28-08-2011 07:35 PM

Fairly pleased with my first outing there with the 511.

Just a bit disappointed with some of my random errors.

Hope to see you all on the 25th at TORCH ;)

Do I sense a TORCH Vs SHRCC in the not too distant future?

Dr_UpGrade 28-08-2011 07:59 PM

Our track does seem to punish the smallest simplest mistakes (I know I make far too many of them myself!).. Glad you had a good time, and yes the interclub event sounds like a fun idea to me...

No more than TORCH. High grip also catches people out, on the edge again but in a diff way. I did enjoy the fact that I wasn't having to try and loose traction etc.

Four wheel power sliding was fun too

Dr_UpGrade 28-08-2011 08:15 PM

yeah, I can see that must have its own problems associated with it... Back to the drawing board for me, when I come down then! Although sorry, can't make the 25th..

ASKay 28-08-2011 08:34 PM
