I've got the same in my arms (on 3 different bones), and in my cheek bone, all bolt holes filled up. They said the bone would start to grow around it, so when I had xrays recently I was expecting it to be all grown over. It had made it half way up the plate thickness since 94...

Damn it I've derailed my own thread even further. This did start about injuries that I've suffered trying to airbrush, needles with thinners on digging into my finger, scalpels slipping etc etc... So... back on topic :lol::p

Yes they are sharp and if one drops off the edge of the workbench in to your little toe THROUGH a trainer it's best to check immediately or as happened to me when I did not check, a very squelchy training shoe half an hour later. And a trip to the shoe shop once the bleeding stopped.
