Yes - I understand the benefit of a longer chassis... what strikes me is that everyone, regardless of what kind of track they run on, thinks that this lengthened chunk of plastic will solve everything but world hunger and goes chop T4 parts right away... there's a lot of conditions where this won't work, and this is why the stock chassis is as it is ;)

The few people that post in this thread is not everyone :-) And you don't know if you don't try... It's not because it works on a large dirt track, that it can't be good anywhere else. Same for the stock chassis.

Since a longer chassis makes the car more stable on high speed, over jumps, and through bumps, I believe that a majority of people will find it handles better than their stock chassis on many tracks. I would even say that the average racer will like this more than the world class drivers, as the car will be more forgiving (also on thight high grip tracks, it's just more stable).

I already tested a longer chassis last winter on a high grip indoor track (after the 22 came out). Didn't like it there because it reduced steering too much for me (was 12mm longer). But it did drive easier (not faster!! easier).

And easy is what many people are after who are struggling with the nimble characteristics of a standard B4.
