It's a squeeze mate. That's for sure. I'm waiting on some heat shrink to arrive to tidy my wiring. It's all in. Just! Lol

I'm building mine at the moment. I've not built anything belt driven before, but couldn't resist all that carbon and anodised alloy :)

With my inexperience in mind, and I am only half way through the build, I would recommend that you look carefully at the small pulleys - they look symmetrical but are not! One side has some material to help keep it from rubbing against the alloy blocks. I realised my error when I was tightening them down, and I was losing the free movement. To add insult to injury, I forgot to put the belt back in, so had to do it a third time. Still I did buy the car to enjoy the build!

I also seem to have some binding in the gears, but this may go away with some running in I guess. Nothing is catching on anything, and it is only when two parts of the two gears are together.

Actually, so far the hardest bit for me has been putting the belt guides on the pulleys. Nearly dislocated my thumb! Lol

May get it's first dry run at TORCH next weekend, even though I feel like a bit a 2WD
