that might be true, but it definitely was the unfair advantage back in 95/96!!! ...even if todays cars might be up to the pace, the concept itself has to be honored!!!!

...hopefully I can race one @ the end of the year...AGAIN....

I found my Pred jumped low and flat. i.e. Leave throttle on and just drive throught the jumps. IMO this Made the car driveable through jumps smoothly and fastly. Yes there is some slap because of the cars low COG, But this is because it jumps low and flat, Like a pebel skimmer on water, The forward direction is always maintained, IMO good to drive over jumps.

UPDATE!

well i tried the Pred today at the MK winter series in Newbury on some jumps & i have to say (after i smashed it to bits early on) it jumped really well :D

it helped that the jumps were designed with decent landings & plenty of runoff but on the many occasions i over jumped the big tabletop & landed flat on the floor the car soaked up the impact OK :)

i need to sort the brakes out now as the main problem i had was stopping it! it was fairly rapid to say the least :o

i'm not too keen on replacing the gearbox tops though as i did one early on when i hit the wall at the end of the straight VERY hard!
somehow i'd rolled my thumb over the wheels on the handle of my radio & turned my steering & brakes way down :wtf:
what a bell-end

the runs i did without problems were pretty good fun, the Pred was a really rewarding car to drive (when you get it right) :)

looking forward to some more good times & good jumping :D

i found the best way to drive a pred was to throw everthing at it and not to hold back! be aggressive with it and you'll reek the rewards, a few things may brake along the way but its worth it!

thats just how i drove mine though ;)
