Cool cheers for that I will be placing an order shortly once I have found a part number for a TR02C chassis, I am thinking of converting my saddle chassis to a stick chassis, seems to make more sense and it saves me having to borrow batterys of a friend everytime I go racing.

Beat you to it, just found it a couple of minutes ago, cheers for that, Cameo, looks like I will be placing an order today, as long as my body man can do the bodies fairly soon, I should have some available shortly, watch this space!!!

Does it fit snuggly as i suspect from comparing the shape of the x6squared chassis to the mm they have slightly different contours. |

Now just need to try and cut it out without taking a loads off the shell! The X6 is narrower at the front compared to the Monkey so is the shell is the same! I'll post some pics up if I can get it to fit nicely :eh?: |
Excellent.
Will you cut it to shape before you paint it? |

Finally got some pics taken the other day.......sorry for the delay in me posting them up on here
My thoughts on the shell......it will fit onto the Monkey (not as tight fitting as the kit shell, but thats to be expected), with a little extra cutting......I've used the kit body mount pins on the Monkey to mount the shell as it pulls it in closer to the shell......maybe velcro will do a better job (but for some reason I cannot get any to stick to the chassis ) I'll run this shell for any dry outdoor meetings and indoor meetings I do (once sprayed) and will more than likely buy one when the time comes :) Pics: http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y23...r/SAM_0162.jpg With rear body shell pins: http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y23...r/SAM_0157.jpg Without rear body shell pins: http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y23...r/SAM_0159.jpg http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y23...r/SAM_0154.jpg http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y23...r/SAM_0156.jpg http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y23...r/SAM_0160.jpg |
Has anyone mentioned that Ansmann do a mid-motor shell, for the X2c, 125001103, £19.99?

Thats why this thread was started ;) |
Looks like I finally got the MM shell coming after getting stung by customs, it shouldn't take too long to get a mould made, depending how many people want one I shall be doing 6 to start with. I shall be selling them for £12.99 plus £2.00 postage, they will come with overspray film and wing.

I will let everyone know when they will be available for purchase, it will a little while to get the mould made as my body man has quite a few other jobs on at the moment. Rest assured we will finally have some clear bodies available in this country despite Ansmann not doing them and they will be a heck of a lot cheaper than the original ones.
|
Good. I look forward to it as I'll have one too. Chris.
|
Bodyshell has finally arrived and is in the hands of my body man, he reckons about 2 weeks to get some on the shelf, I shall let everyone know when they are done and ready for purchase.

Hurry up!!! My boy managed to split the TeamC shit shell on the weekend....
