grip rolling........ahh crap I didnt need to hear that!!!

I hope you find a solution soon cos you will get alot of contradictory advice. I've heard it all, stiffen it up, soften it up, but at least most guys say to use a sway bar.

Anyone want to explain what grip rolling means?

reg 03-04-2011 04:47 PM

Try yellow mini spikes on the front and if your still getting grip roll remove the outer row of spikes.

When your car goes into a corner, and the front end "bites" into the track so much that it rolls over. Removing a the outer row of spikes can help

Anyone had a problem with the driveshaft pins (diff outdrive side) coming slack and hitting the bottom of the rear shock tower mount in mid config. It happened to me tonight on a high grip carpet track, when i heard an annoying ticking noise when cornering and thought it was gearbox or diff related. On investigation i noticed the pin was not central in the outdrive and was contacting the shock mount bottom when cornering as the driveshaft moves in towards the diff when the suspension is compressed. I managed to press it back in and this stopped the ticking noise for now but it'll probably do the same again. I will try and speak to the shop where I bought it and see if I can get some new ones on warranty.

mine did this today at robinhood :( ive put some s/glue on it now

Yup and mine too, a little annoying but it could be worse. In fact it is worse because the diff now feels like a bag of gravel after only one outing!

Still love the car and I'm sure the niggles will soon be sorted.
