with regard to telling the difference in handling for different chassis layouts. I'm an F2 (lower end of F2's!) so no where near the top 50-60 guys in this country, but when i tried my fiends lazer with KMC conversion there was a noticeable difference. Even from driving it for 3-4 laps it was obvious that it had completely different jumping and cornering characteristics. And we both run pretty similar shock setup and linkages.

Jim, out of interest what was the track surface / layout and qhich chassis did you prefer and why???

Not trying to start a heavy discussion, just curious!!!!

One of the reasons I've looked at the Lazer chassis over and over again is that it is NOT a BJ4WE copy!

er it is i owned a kmc conversion same chassis and it is a bitch to drive:eh?:

I think Roger is referring to the original chassis, not the new one, which basically is a BJ4 copy

The track was CML - Lee Martins, and stotfold

The KMC did seem to jump better and flatter. Mine jumps ok, but can sometimes twist in the air a bit.
Overall i would probably still favour my original chassis, but it could have been down to a slight set up difference.
