I cant say for deffo but there based around these rules. . .
As James Carvell is the scrutineer and has based them on the Hinckley rules
some fine adjustment is under way but any one of the ESC will do you as long as it has NO TURBO OR BOOST just scan through till you come to the dave section . .

http://www.hinckleyrccc.co.uk/HRCCCC...nRules2011.pdf

I know for a fact the motor limit is £75. .
but just ran my GTB2 and im well pleased with it

The car was runing . ..
GTB2. .£114.. . Fusion Logic motor 13.5 £40. . . SMC 5000 LiPo 2nd hand 2yrs old and still going £40. . .
Hitec 225mg £20 . . Harry PT & the best bit NO LiPo booster

Just some advice from experience made in 17.5 turn off-road racing: chose a single spec motor. There are huge differences between various manufacturers. The Graupner Sport motors (should be available through Schumacher as your GM Racing distributor) are just insane: 395 watts from a 13.5 turn motor compared to e.g. an LRP Vector X12 at 241 watts...

We chose the Speed Passion Competition 3.0 17.5R for our Short Course Spec class, which is comparable to the Slash's Titan 12 silver can. The LRP X12 17.5, on the other hand, had much more torque. Take your time to find a motor that is really comparable to your current motor, and the racers will love it!

truggy im with you, i run a tekin rs with a x12 6.5 1s lipo :-)

thats why people have to involve mardave, one motor ,one price ,motor companys do limited runs of motors ,so 6 months and there will be no more lrp fusion, there already making different stacks for them

all i can say is, look at what a mardave is, its a piece of alu, its note fancy, bog standard in every way, its still the same design its been for the past 15-20years so just leave it as it is.why do you think its still going strong?

if you spent less time filming the race VIA glassers cam LOL and more time racing, maybe there will be less mistakes (only women can multitask haha)
