footey 26-11-2007 01:56 PM

dosent look good for me so will be a trip to ITALY i think to support the lads
im reserve 10 in 2wd and 17 in 4wd gutted

Chrislong 26-11-2007 02:15 PM

I think I was close to being one of the last to get entry, at 8am-ish...

Its sold out quicker than UB40!

I'll be going via car with Daneth, but keen to meet up with Footey, Garry, Neil and whoever else, we can have a few drinks on the overnighter from Hull etc...

janus_77 26-11-2007 02:22 PM

Slots filled up fast, wasn't expecting that as its so close to the Euro's :eh?:, but this is a big compliment to Heremans and all of the other people of the club.

super__dan 26-11-2007 02:58 PM

Holy carp, that's nuts!

Not looking good for Danny :-(

footey 26-11-2007 03:05 PM

i wont be there chris im well down on the reserves but the outher lads got im gutted

Danny McGee 26-11-2007 03:47 PM

Nope Danny has been told that he is and i quote

"Hello Danny,

We're very sorry but we've already had to start the reserve list:
number 17 reserve 2wd, number 25 reserve 4wd.

Willy & Liliane"

Dam being a student and always sleeping in late.

super__dan 26-11-2007 03:56 PM

Bad news, by the way chaps I do remmeber the reserve list being long last year (though after a couple of days not hours) but that quite a lot of people dropped out. I think sme may not really realise how close it is to the Euros, and just other things crop up. Trouble is you may not know until close to the time.

X Factory Driver Antoinne was I'm sure reserve 10+ and got in but not until the week before. Shane, if you can leave the time free, I wouldn't write off your chances just yet!

footey 26-11-2007 03:59 PM

my times free m8 so will see what happens:cool:

Cooper 26-11-2007 05:25 PM

numbah 14 in 2wd

it's CRAZY how fast everything is filled in, last year it took about a week
now +- 8hours ...

matdodd 26-11-2007 07:27 PM

19 in 2wd & 14 in 4wd for me :D

xx4-nutter 26-11-2007 07:55 PM

ye dan i recon that idea of going in car is probibly best as you pointed out. i recon we should all meet up at the ferry car park or somthing.. we only live a few mins away, infact i can hear it from my house on a foggy night !

should be a fantastic trip ! :)

Hi Neil,
No, im not a fan to be honest.

Meeting up is a must. Will see you at York shortly, or perhaps Batley on Sunday - but we have heaps of time to go over the fine details.

CharlieF 26-11-2007 08:09 PM

To the creatures of the night who have secured places at the 2008 Belgian GP - please be advised that the event takes place during the hours of daylight!!!!
Regards
Count D (154th Reserve) - I'm not bitter!

Wow, what time did you register?

jimmy 26-11-2007 08:21 PM

crazy, I didn't even realise you had to register so early! we were thinking of going before Euros. :wtf:

CharlieF 26-11-2007 08:26 PM

The 154 is a favorite number of mine, and not the actual reserve places which are 24 for 2WD and 28 for 4wd at mid-day on the opening day for entries. Perhaps as this venue is gaining in popularity to this extent we in the UK should be putting it forward for a Round of our National Championship. From WISBECH it is closer than Southport for instance!

mw02veg 26-11-2007 08:29 PM

that would be mega.tis true it was closer than southport and v=bury for me werent muchtime difference neither

OK - Im warming to this! We already have cross border Regionals in NW/NE and in ME/EoE why not cross-border nationals? We are struggling for "good" national venues (apparently no-one likes flat grass anymore). Who's up for a National in Belgium if Willy and Liliane are prepared to host and offer a convenient weekend?
Did I just think that out loud?
