CODMAN 11-03-2011 12:59 PM

Well none of those uopgrades are going to make it better than my current FT. So I'm definetly not going to be switching anytime soon! I'll just replace parts with newer versions as they break (yeah right, get serious... it's a Yokomo... :p).

fastinfastout 11-03-2011 01:46 PM

yeh I doubt that chassis would make much difference.

ottoswe 12-03-2011 08:01 AM

still it would be a great inprovement to get rid of the nimh slots.

It looks a like a great car to buy as a first time buy, but probably not really worth it for us current owners. Seems like its usability improvements for the most part, but I'll be getting that shell I think.

SNAPPED

Looks like the new chassis will be a big help for me as i've just
SNAPPED mine last night.
Anyone got dates when cml will have them in?

chokoboy 15-03-2011 10:08 AM

Snapped my b-max chassi for the 2nd time this winter doing indoor carpet racing.
So i just made a preorder for the new lipo chassi and the new cab forward shell at champrc.
They don't have any price yet but says it will be available by the end of the month

Are you using the aluminium suspention mounts? They are mostly the reason for snapping chassies. I never used them, and I never had a snapping chassie!

cheers

nothing to do with ally mounts . the chassis is a little bit thin round the rear screw holes if any thing ally mounts keep it stiff .
my mate got a carbon chassis plate on the bottom . its mint
wonder if the x4 pro ft chassis would be modded to fit

lovin my bmax its firing at the min.

do yokomo still use self tapping screws, or have the wised up and started using normal machine button head hex screws?

mes 09-06-2012 03:37 PM

Normal hex screws on the World Spec and the B-Max2.
