Shane, thanks for the offer. I could meet you at the outdoor track Sunday morning, before going over to Batley to race. If this time is not convenient,I can arrange to pass keys for the container to another club member.
Just to check, I think the beams are around 9ft long, will these fit in your van?

footey 09-11-2007 03:00 PM

Let me know if you need an extra hand loading and unloading the van, I'll be able to come over to help Sunday morning if you want :)

Shane I’m sure I speak for everyone if I say that your help means the meeting actually goes ahead then you will jump top the head of the queue for power points. That being said at club meetings this is not normally a problem, only at the Supercup last year have we ever had a problem and that was due to a dodgy socket.

Oscar 10-11-2007 09:02 AM

Thanks for help Shane, I'll phone you later to arrange. Dont worry about charging, we'll get you some electric;) If not you can share my 12v.

I too enjoyed the racing, the meeting ran very smoothly I thought. Big thanks to Footey for helping out with the rostrum so that the meeting was able to go ahead! Also thanks to everyone who helped put the track away at the end - many hands make light work!

Looking forward to the next Batley club meeting (and hoping that Dianne will run a 'micro heat' as well!)

Had a good laugh today, got the S2 going quite nicely and the BJ4 liked the double jump (! :) ), where's that vid Jimmy :D

We did seem a bit rushed though which was a bit annoying, I even struggled a bit to get a set of tires glued up in-between rounds :(

PaulRotheram 11-11-2007 10:41 PM

you didnt need to though mr lowe, i'd of pushed you if it wasnt for that damn bj4 :p

I saw the video on the cam screen, quite impressive!

Richard Lowe 11-11-2007 10:51 PM

It was 2wd, honest! :p

It will make a good demo video to show how strong the car is :wtf:
