mk2kompressor 03-12-2010 04:53 PM

Thanks to everyone for a good start to the SRCMCC Kyosho sponsored Winter series.

Well done to both winners

4wd - Lee Martin
2wd - Lloyd Storey

About 40 drivers for the first round was pretty good and i am sure it will grow, awesome to be home at 5pm after packing away etc... And realising it's only Saturday!!!!!

Big thanks to all involved, excellent meeting, friendly atmosphere and fantastic facility.

Thank you Matt and MA for letting SRCMCC host our Winter Series at your amazing facility!

What a great bunch of drivers- serious competetive racing with a great, relaxed atmosphere!

I would like to take this opportunity to thank the amazing clubs out there. DMS Racing are our carpet donor for our winter series as SRCMCC don't have any as we only have an outdoor track. DMS's facility has been closed for H&S reasons all week due to the weather so we were unable to collect their carpet for this meeting. West Bridgeford Model car club then stepped up and supplied us with some carpet at such late notice!!!Broxtowe Model Car Club were even willing to lend us theirs even though they have a meeting tonight and their winter series meeting tomorrow (I'm sure there might still be some places!!). I can't speak more highly about these clubs and the people that run them. Seriously good stuff helping us to make our winter series as good as it can be for all. THANK YOU!!!

Thank you to Lloyd, John, Ralphy Baby and last but not least, the control man, Captain Pupton. You are a great team to work with. I'm sorry if I moan a bit :p

Lastly, I'm sure enough has been said this season, but seriouly Lee, different league!!!!!!!!

Matt

What a top days racing, great track at a brilliant venue. This could easily turn into the best winter series in the UK. Hope you get a few more racers turning up next time to reward the massive effort put in by all involved.
