your kidding your self if you think you can build em to work with no air in, google emulsification, they have to have air in to work as the air is the replacement for the "diahram" on non emuslifying shocks

Better over bumpy track conditions. Disadvantages are that they can be slightly slower to respond

Would a tappered piston help with the disadvantages ?

any 'disadvantage' can be dialled out with bigger hole pistons and/or thinner oil.

you can get bigbores working in every situation that you can get 'normal' shocks working, it just gives the wider spectrum of setup options to help it land the big jumps or hit the big bumps if you want it to.

When are they due to be released or formally announced?

You attending with the Team to Petit? shame you're not racing

Chris Doughty 11-01-2011 10:48 AM

I don't have any details, right now I'm just a regular racer for Durango, I don't start work there until the 24th, im still working my notice period at my old work :(

I might try and make it along to one of the days at Petit, get a feel for the 10th scale scene again, its resonably local to me.

The Petit race report (http://www.oople.com/rc/photos/petit2011/index.html) suggests these will be out in a few weeks...

Wonder if they'll be in either of the DEX410 kits?
