with eastrax having a few trade account with a few people and now in the model world have account with cml, Miirage and horizon we stock a few spares etc schumacher could'nt even reply to our application for an account we have had to chose a tyre which we have all been using locally then ballistics were choosen but if it is going to be a bone of contention which will put people off we could go to grp's.
what do you guys want.

Whatever is available on the day cos' the bloomin postal strike has put pay to me ordering any tyres or wheels online and gettin them on time

Albertini 05-10-2007 08:15 PM

I'm sort of in the same situation as you Simon. I'm quite happy to run with whats available on the day ( providing I can clean some wheels up or buy new ones there, AE b4 ). Might even be without a 19t now...Bugger.
Do you sell foams and wheels Paul. Might be Ok for rims but I have no foams. I'll try locally tomorrow otherwise I'll have to run with some used BB'S already on rims.:)

I really enjoyed myself yesterday, I have to admit that I didn't find the tyres that bad on the dry astro using a slightly worn set of greens all day which looked in the same state at the end as they did at the beginning.

19 turn was, well an experiance and it definatly took some getting used to when going over the jumps, as you can't get yourself out of trouble as easily. Also found myself concentrating more when racing a slower car how strange is that http://www.rcracechat.com/vb/images/...s/confused.gif Thanks Richard for the loan of motor for the day, hopefully it's not too burnt http://www.rcracechat.com/vb/images/smilies/eek.gif

My brother (Daniel) should have some photos on his online account soon, I will post the link when they become available.

Along with the off road track there is also two motor cross tracks and a couple of tarmac ovals for racing stock cars, losi sliders and anything that goes round in circles.

His hair is orange :p
I thought he did a pretty good job, considering it's only his second time taking photos of model car racing.
