Specs.

Hotbodies : with : 38mm offset: 9mm
KyoW5027: with : 35mm offset: 6,5mm

this means mounted the W5027 have 5mm wider trackwith mesured at the center of rim to center of rim.
And since the HB rim is wider in total 3mm the trackwith from outside to outside of the rim gives the W5027 a 2mm wider trackwith.

So actualy if i use the HB rims the rear will be a fraction norrower than it is with the original ones.

Personally i believe the best solution is the zx-5 original not FS rear hubs or the 2wd rear hubs are a better solution.

I will keep that in mind for the "outdor" season. (need more tires than the ones on the pictures above)
The track we use now is "filt" carpet, and not allowed to use "spikes" on the tires.
And for the most part i race my Cyber 10B indoors and some the D4WCE.
The ZX-R is more for fun :) and for those i have 3 sets of tires, cutdown schumi mini spike and x2 minipin. and two of them on HB hubs, the other is Jconcepts. And with my "excelent" driving skils:eh?: i am sure the difference won`t be that much.

I hope the half meter of snow soon will be gone and the outdoor season will start soon.

I just got a "sparepart" D4. So now i have 3 sets of the HB aluthreaded shocks. Thought i might test them out on the Lazer as well. They wery good on the Cyber and the D4. And the gold ones are old, and i am looking for a rebuild kit for them.

OT: today i feel my english i WAY off.....

English is good. Narrower rear end is really noticeable and makes the car a much more stable platform, easier to use and throw into corners on low grip and high grip on carpet. I found the ultima rb type r rear hubs suited the car best and has three holes on the bottom for more tuneability on the wishbones.

I will be posting some pictures soon with and without wheels. May interest you.

Did some testing when i was at the track last thursday. and its wery noticable that the lipos are lighter. the was very nose heavy in the jumps..
And my ECS was not performing correctly think i have to replace it. Between neutral and braking i had full speed... this made the driving slightly difficult.

New parts on the way in.

blue steering
Titanium turnbuckles
LA26
and Zeppin brass lipo balance weights...

Just waiting on the news about the lipotray now before fibre lyte order...

English is fine mate. Mini pins or mini spikes the car will be on rails so hope that you get the right hubs on the rear and have the wider front end as the car dramatically changes to a more stable platform. With a one way its evan more user friendly.

I have just done a lipo tray design which is under the ZXR thread that Iso started and pics are there for you to view. I am currently updating the design to fit the ZXR standard chassis as I based the design on my chassis. Still the Lipo tray design keeps the cells perfectly stationary on the chassis and no movement at all which is great. Price for this however may be a bit pricey so is alldown to if you want it. £30 from Fdibrelyte soon.

The cost is due to some milling of a solid block of CF in the middle, which may I add is for you to attach the Zeppin brass cell trays so that they do not come loose, also the block in the centre of the chassis is designed for you to add the TRF511 lipo tray centre chassis rude bitz brass plates for more weight in the centre of the chassis and making the ZXR more dialable than ever. You will need to drill two holes in your chassis for this block.

Hope this makes sense.
