LOL funny..... but dont upset the old boy today mate, he seems a bit touchy as can be seen above :) :p

Tony... get a life mate and take a chill pill, I made a tongue in cheek comment and you have jumped about 10 foot in the air, when you come down of that high horse you might see that....

I have no problem with anyone you mention in your post or you, I have no problem at all, I simply said nice ad for your sponsors (and since they all appear in your sig, yes they are all sponsors however you see it)

The car is "nice" yes and the post tells us that in length and the cars are avialable from dealers all over the country too

Now get over it and go and get some work done or somthing you old fool

Tony, or any of the other 4.1 owners: Can you clarify on the rear end toe-in for me? Am I right in saying that you can (with kit parts!)

change inboard toe-in by changing suspension blocks

but not change wheel-side toe-in (fixed 0.5° setting of the rear hubs)

Or did I miss something?

The kit includes blocks to adjust the inboard toe-in, the kit is supplied with 0.5 alloy hubs to give outboard toe-in, AE do list optional hubs with 0, 1.0 or 1.5 toe in but these are not included in the kit.

the new B4.1 has also got new front axles that don't bend

Marc is right - the kit is adjustable in-board with outboard options.
In the Kit you get 2.5 - 3.0 - 3.5 - 4.0 in-board and 0.5 outboard
Hope this helps

Of course I should of said that the Associated (24 time world champions) B4.1 Factory Team car is also available from many shops around the country. DMS Racing is of course one of those shops situated in Watford. Now whether DMS Racing stocks the Associated B4.1 as they are the UK Imported of the also fabulous X6 2wd car is another matter but
I am sure Darren will let us know if it's stock with them or not here soon.

I apologise to all that the thread has changed somewhat but there you have it.....

ps - back to the thread - the new fabulous B4.1 has also got new front axles that don't bend - please note some of these parts also fit the X6 (for Darrens pleasure)

Sarcastic, but funny...... love it ;) (£20 on its way to you in the post)

Lee Martin 03-08-2010 03:26 PM

well that made my afternoon more fun!! haha

peetbee 03-08-2010 03:39 PM

I know the shock towers carried over the original part numbers from the B4 and that the new slipper parts have different part numbers, but what about all the other bits?
Edit: wishbones seem to be the same part numbers but the chassis plate is different as are the arm mounts/toe in blocks

GRIFF55 03-08-2010 03:41 PM

it has been a good read!!!
Nice car there MAAAAA:thumbsup: (not as good as 201xxx obviously!);)

DaveB 03-08-2010 04:00 PM

Dear oh dear

what are you lot like:lol: Im sure the new b4.1 will be a much better car than the b4......the changes that have been made are suttle but will be a big improvement. I am currently working on a new car, which when finished is going to blow the opposition away......i have taken inspiration on this new project from the tamiya grasshopper.......but....and wait for it.......its going to be called the brasshopper...:p.........hope this crap makes you laugh ....dont take thing to seriously...........and watch out for new 4.1 parts on the Rudebits website (thought i would get that one in).

RudeTony 03-08-2010 04:27 PM

Dave - you are one in a million and we love yah!
For those that are waiting in agony (darren) the B4 brass all fits the B4.1 as well BUT since this car is so fantastic we are thinking of making something very special for it - the problem is Associated thought of everything so it's real hard at the mo.....
To the questions posted - I am led to belive that everything, sonner or later will filter through as parts but maybe the odd thing just wont.
Lee it's the same chassis dude! The one that Tamiya copied he he he :p

ps - I guess Darren you won't want my CV for next year then?!!!!!
