The front wishbone weakness is all to do with landings not hittings....

The T4 suffers with the same problem but worse and both cars use the same wishbone (check out the part numbers). The wishbones are long and slender and taper to a narrow waist just inside of the front wheel inner rim which then widens to accommodate the outer hinge pin.

When landing from jumps, if the car lands and the wishbone straddles an uneven surface, track edging, rope etc. etc. then the downward momentum of the wheel snaps the wishbone at the narrow waist.

The SC10 wheels are a bigger diameter than on the T4 which gives more ground clearance so less chance of a fulcrum point being formed on the wishbone on landing a jump but it happens a fair bit on big jump tracks.

As I said in an earlier post... the RPM heavy duty pattern parts sort it. Otherwise its a brilliant car and great fun.

what the BLITZ ESE like to race with compaired to the SC10,and also how reliable are they,it would have the ball diff removed:woot:

Actually the SC10 gear diff runs on metric bearings 10x16mm to be precise ;)

They have a new truck now, well at least Team c does, the TS2, it's full size ROAR legal etc. I doubt Ansmann will sell the short one much longer, I put a couple of links to picture of it below if anyone want's to see the differences. Pretty much it's got it's own longer chassis and uses the ST truck arms (and I guess shocks and towers) and different wheels to the old one which used all the buggy parts + ST truck chassis (it comes with a clear body not that dodgy paint, thankfully )

Any tried short course truck on carpet

we race on carpet when we go indoor but as yet iv not tried it,i would think you just run lower and stiffer:woot:

i have run one on carpet ,,,, kit tyres are ace and work very well.
didnt really mess with set up though as we wanted to keep them pretty standard , but now the FT sc10 is out i am going to set it up properly :thumbsup:
